I've never beaten any Zelda game aside from Oracle of Ages and Seasons, and then linked those two together.

Lol. I never even owned OoT. Borrowed the Masters edition on GC from some friends and tried to run through it.

Disgaea looks cool

Disgaea is off the chain. Dont bother with 2 unless you like 1. Dont bother with 3 unless you still like disgaea after 2 and 1 (I havent heard ANYBODY talk about Disgaea 3 really).

Pick a game in the "Nippon Ichi" series, they're all good. Disgaea, La Pucelle Tactics, Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom, Soul Nomad and the World Eaters.

Persona 3 and 4. Yes.

Tales games. Pick one. They're all good. (I'd argue against Tales of Symphonia 1 and 2.)

Valkyrie Profile 1 and 2. **** tier.

Wild Arms. Ballin series. I love 5. Hex system is kool

Breath of Fire. Ballin series.

Grandia is fun as **** to play.

I could go on and on, you gotta kinda be specific in what you want. XD

Hmm. I've ran through a little bit of dot.hack
both KHs, Fable 1 and 2, Jade Empire, Final Fantasy 1/2, Dragon Quest 8 cant really remember too many more.

For the most part. I like Mid-long length (20hrs+) and a captivating storyline.
Kh 1 and 2 held my attention and so did Fable 1 and 2 despite being dull. I lost it in Jade Empire a little bit but finished it since I was at the end. DQ 8 EXCELLENT.

Wow, I've never even heard of some of those series lmao.
Tales games I want to stay away from since I see those as more of a game to play with friends.

I didn't like Kotor or Kotor2 same with Morrowind/Oblivion.

I've also heard good stuff about Star Ocean: Til the end of time. Isnt that like 70hrs though?
And Whats the word on Infinite Undiscovery/Last Remnant?

My friends had Infinite Undiscovery for a while. They said it was annoying as ****. I actually popped in on them playing once. The main character was trying to get his partners to heal him, but for some reason they wouldn't. So for about 5 minutes, all you heard was:

How the **** can I forget about that game (i guess it's because I'm letting my friend borrow it)

Odin sphere is off the ****ing chain. The ONLY gripe I really have about the game is the horrid framerate in one section of it (and OH DEAR GOD IS IT BAD). but Odin Sphere's a **** good game.

I think VP1 and 2 fit into that timerange too, im not sure. Parasite Eve fits in there (i cant remember if the story was AMAZING or not, but I know for a fact that the game is short. Like, 10 hours. Still a good game though. XD)

I'll have to stop and think about some more. My opinions of RPGs looks something like this. The most important thing to me is the gameplay, period. I can look past a somewhat bad (or predictable) story as long as the game is actually fun to play, because when it's all said and done I'm still playing a game. If I wanted a game that had a good story and the gameplay was lackluster, I'd go read a book. I'm not trying to chop you down, im actually just saying how i look at RPGs.

And because of that, I would have a much easier time telling you 20-30+ hour rpgs that are fun to play than I do telling you ones with a good story.

Tales games. Multiplayer ones you play with your friends, sure. Honestly, the only one I'd play with soembody is Tales of Vesperia. Symphonia isnt fun for me to play (Why the f**k does that game not have free run? Ever? I would look past this if ****ing Star Ocean 2 didnt come out years before it). The rest of the Tales games are actually single player. They really are like RPG Maddens; atleast one comes out every year, fundamentally the same gameplay and story, but still good as ****.

And Tales of Legendia was BA.

Legendia was the ****ing MvC2 of the series. It was OK to play, but dear god the combos.

I accidentally 200+ comboed a boss. ACCIDENTALLY. IM NOT EVEN MAKING THAT UP.

The party was actually one of my favorite groups of characters ever (Probably my favorite part as a whole). STEP UP INTO THE HOUSE OF VALENS AND GET YOU SH*T PUSHED IN.

And also the reason I say a good story is because If the story is good, I'll play it no matter the length.
For example: I hear Mass Effect is about 50+Hrs.
I don't think I've even been to a second planet in that game yet and I've had it for about 6months now.

I think I spent around 15-20Hrs in Enchanted Arms just leveling up because it was so much fun. Disc broke and never beat it however.

For VP2, playing 1 helps you understand some of 2, but it's not required by any stretch of the imagination.

The rest of them are like FF. Odin Sphere is original. Disgaea is original, but 2 and 3 are not related storywise. All Persona's are unreleated. Same with Wild ARMs.
