Just some random thought I had completely unrelated to leaks/current speculation: Why haven't we got music DLC? I know that characters are the most exciting and important part of Smash Bros, but I'm always so excited to hear some kick*** remixes of some of my favorite video game music. It would also be a good way to add in content that was lacking *cough cough* Xenoblade X music *cough cough*.

Personally, I'd love to get new music from games like Fire Emblem Three Houses (no character please), Pokemon SwSh, Xenoblade 2 (Torna and the base game), Xenoblade X, ARMS, Shovel Knight, and so many more. I think it'd be a good way to add in extra stuff without being too taxing from a development standpoint. Kind of like how Mii Costumes are handled.

Would you guys buy music packs with remixes plus new songs if they were priced well enough?

i would accept as long as it's just for those franchises already represented(but don't leave rayman and shantae out because i want to see them get music with fighters).

The only way I can see the Mallow/Smithy mii costumes coming with anyone other than Geno is if it's another SMRPG character who gets in as a fighter, which seems unlikely.

True, but people keep saying that characters from their own franchises out of nowhere have come with DLC fighters which is what is making me worried. More than likely these will come with Geno (because there are 3 Square Enix costumes coming according to that mii costume list) but the possibility isn't too far fetched. Im convinced Geno is coming and his costumes are Mallow, Smithy and the Chocobo hat, but Im just worried what it means if they come earlier/with a different fighter.

I have speculation going on with that one leak involving Frogger.

If it is real, what if the 2nd wave of DLC (assuming it's a 2nd battle pass) is actually a DLC lineup that's all based on retro characters? Didn't Sakurai state that he does consider Geno to be a retro rep? Frogger's from 1981 and Geno's from 1996. Makes me wonder if Rash or one of the toads from Battletoads also has a bigger chance at getting in because the three should count as retro reps from the NES era. Crono would also be a good retro rep for DLC, being part of the SNES era; however, he's owned by Square, so that'd be quite the pull from Sakurai if he can end up getting TWO more of Square's properties as DLC, and I would love Crono in Smash as a playable character.

I think it’s actually pre-recorded, but they tend to stream these videos sometimes instead of simply uploading them for some reason. Sakurai said something about it and there’s a shot of him playing in the image.

If it is true that there are no new reveals in the presentation, as Nintendo is claiming, but yet the presentation includes these specific things:
Mii Fighter Costumes such as Geese, Heihachi, Lloyd, and Hollow Knight.
The stage is called King of Fighters Stadium (while not super hard to guess IS a part of the leak).
A new online mode coming with 6.0, called Slipspace (which we know was datamined at a prior point, doesn't make anything less valid).

Then we're still in the money, and the leak can be seen as potentially legit and accurate, which means Doom Slayer, Geno, and Frogger down the line. (Two of those consist with the recent Mii Costume leak).

Now, I'm not saying to put stock in this leak, but I am saying to keep an eye out during the presentation.

I'm definitely going to keep an eye out, at least. ..But then again, I tend to wake up to these sorts of things having already gone down, so I'm sure you'll all have been picking the presentation apart for hours by the time I even watch it.

The one big counter to the Mii thing, though, is that PapaGenos’ original costume leak source already said that it would be Geese, Haohmaru, Nakoruru, “classic SNK costumes”, and Kyo. You can find the source pinned on his Discord right before all this dev-build leak stuff exploded.

I’m personally trusting that source more, but who knows, the Frogger leak could blindside us if that leak’s costumes happen instead.

We don't know anything yet. Sakurai can curveball us to oblivion should he do so. He's freaking Sakurai, that's all!
