Anyone can probably go as long as: 1. they have $5 2. there are fewer than 15 people. I need a ride from East SJ to this and I can split gas. I'm not really good with PT.

Clayton is a completely different town from Concord which is the closest Bart I believe. so no it's not walkable.

Concerning BART; my home is definitely not walkable from the concord bart station, however I CAN pick people up from the concord bart station so long as they can get there on time! If you're taking bart here and will need to be picked up, please try to pick a bart time that will let you arrive at the Concord Station as close to *6:00PM as possible. I'll show up there probably 15 mins early and chill til around 6:15pm.
If you need to reach me for whatever reason, my number is 925-727-8779. Don't call me over something that I can resolve over the forums, but if you're on a bart train or outside my house or something, feel free to call lol.
Alsoooooo if anyone has room in their backpack to bring an SSBM setup (system+disc+cables) or in their car for a small TV, please bring it =D The more setups the better.

I wanna go to this soo badly but I can only get as far as the Concord BART station b/c for whatever reason google maps is giving me this "5953 Cardinet Drive, Clayton CA appears to be outside our current coverage area. Please consult our list of participating public transit agencies."...so, it'd be awesome if I could either give me some further directions or give me a ride from the BART(I'd throw some gas money your way). I'll try to be there around 6ish since that's when the event starts. I'm new to the Bay Area(moved here from CO about a month ago) and it'd be awesome to get to know some of the smashers out here.

That should be fine guys, we'll probably have enough space to pick up like half a dozen people. Give my cell a call as I'll be there right around 6pm if you can't find me. Oh and since there are 2 pickup sides at the concord bart.... I'll be on the side that's just facing a bunch of small houses & fencing, not the side that faces all the business buildings.

Oh man,
I don't remember a smashfest that fun. Playing in my room with hella ranked players is always legit, but having almost an entire house to yourself and other smashers of all levels is way too cool. I wish I didn't have to leave and come back but it was still quite awesome. Playing outside and recording while having a beer was probably the most fun. That and meeting people I've never seen before like Julian and Ara, you guys have a lot of potential. and What night would be complete without 3am Denny's? Can't wait for the next one

A little late, but I wanted to extend my thanks to everybody who showed up to last saturday's fundraiser smashfest! We had a solid dozen people show up for nearly 14 hours of smash, and in our first event raised $60 towards Genesis!
The next fundraiser event, a BBQ and Smashfest will be held at my property once again next Sunday, 9/19! Smash will begin at around noon for anybody who would like to show up that early, with the grill being fired up to serve burgers, hot dogs, and a whole bunch of sides/chips & dip / drinks around 3pm. We'll also have at least 4 smash setups outside on the shaded patio area (and/or a couple indoors as well) for gameplay until around midnight that night.
The price has also been lowered by $5 from what was listed in the original post, so the event entry fee (which will include all-you-can-eat lunch, SSBM, and a raffle ticket for a chance to win free entry to the game of your choice at Genesis 2!) will only be $15!
I'll be starting signups now, so tell your friends and we hope to see you there! I do need to know at least a day in advance if you plan on going so I can stock enough food for everybody, but if you do decide at the last minute to come pay a visit I'll still take you in lol.
