OMG I'm such an idiot I came here to /rant about not being able to play mango's mario.

Hrrm, what's new with mario anyways? I have a DS now so I might get a mario game (considering getting Mario kart DS since many play it)

If I could snake, I would then have a different opinion about this. I'm actually glad it's impossible on MKWii because not everyone can do it.
I said it was nerfed, I didn't say it was impossible. You still get faster lap times by snaking with the karts, but the bikes blow the benefit out of the water.

Can you remove items from races in wifi? It would make for an interesting contest, itemless Mario Karting. I'd get in on that.
Actually I'm not sure, has anyone else tried to do so for MKWii? I don't remember there being an option to turn off items on friend mode wifi for MKDS.

I recommend Super Mario 64 DS if you can get that too, it's a nice revamp of the classic title.

If you think the two characters and two bikes are such a detriment to take away competition from a race, you could just ban them, since it is your tournament you're planning on running. Wouldn't affect me, in my case, except for being without the Flame Runner. I'd just have to get used to using Luigi and Bowser on the Wario Bike again.
It's easier to ban bikes because they're pros outweigh they're cons. But characters, you have to bring a good excuse to ban them. Since I use Daisy in every Mario game she's in, I will miss her if she's ban, but since I like Toadette more, it's not a total lost. =P

I think it's only for offline. Though itemless Mario Kart will seem a bit weird. O_o

I can assure you, I've passed Daisies into the turn on a Mach Bike vs. a Mach Bike only to completely lose it on the straightaways. Maybe Mario is just that bad at being fast. >_>;
QUOTE]

You can draft them too, it helps.

If you do this tourney, I wouldn't ban anyone.

I just wanted to say, I played the Visual Boy again yesterday and got incredibly dizzy from it. Mario's Tennis, yeah!

Also, TTYD is fun so far.

Yea, I played DIY on my DS. I got bored of it after a while, but the only decent game I made was a guy shooting a guy lol

I guess the Warioware that last the longest was the one on GC, which is mutiplayer. I miss playing that game with a lot of my friends.

Yeah if you guys want to talk about TTYD, do it in the thread to gain it some activity.

And I've heard about Admiral Bobbery, so no worries. :p

I'm getting back into HG/SS and I'm currently trying to beat the game as much as I can (pokedex, items etc.). My cousins came over and they brought Naruto Shippuden: Clash of the Ninja Revolution 3 and we played 4 player multiplayer which was really entertaining. I'm planning on buying it because its multiplayer is surprisingly fun :p

I recently bought Twilight Princess. Suuuuuuch good graphics, music, and humor and adventure and suspense and blah blah blah blah!

I'll start a new file in Heartgold once I get enough Watts to unlock the Quiet Cave so I can get a **** Feebas and Spiritomb and Munchax, get Pokemon eggs, trade them to Platinum, and trade them back in the new file. Currently at around 67,000 Watts, I'm just chugging along!

I desperatly want to play TTYD ;_;

I'm always on Heartgold, I'm also playing Emerald, I even brung it with me on Holiday, I'm trying to catch them all except nobody I know has a Chikorita :@ It's my favorite starter in all the Pokemon games, the only reason I didn't start with it is because a friend has it, we were going to trade but never got around to it, she doesn't have Wi-fi and we only meet up in school (going to college now though) and we kinda forgot xD;

I decided to play my Emerald mainly to migrate a feebas, it was surprisingly easy :O I also found Latios, but since I NEVER change the game without cloning it since something might happen to my HG, and then I would've started a new game but something happenend and it Latios went away. I was so pissed but afterwards I got over it and started a new game. (mainly because a Latios event for Heartgold is still avalible when I go back to England xP)

Yeah I forgot that you can't complete your pokedex without trading....

You could always try the GTS, even though you'll likely get terrible trade offers since you're looking for a starter.

The thing is, I have :p
I got lotsa starters from there, but you have to actually have the starter your pokedex before it's on GTS, either that or nobody is offering a chikorita :S
I'll probably just trade with the internet people once I get back to England.

Paper Mario similar to Pokemon, you summon your partners to do your bidding, and they will always obey without the need of Gym Badges.

Mario is the reason Probopass is one of my favorite pokemon, I really want a shiny Probopass so I can call it Mario. <3
Also, my friend said I should name all the Pokemon after Mario characters, it seemed like fun, so I did, it certianly makes the game much longer :O
Also, It might not be possible, but it's going to be interesting.

I never give nicknames to any of my pokemon. I'd rather just call them what they are. Yay for lack of originality.

I never nickname mine for competitive purposes. I typically battle friends that already know most of my pokemon's stat bonus placement (ev's, iv's, ect.), natures, and moves. Having 4 different Electivires and 6 different Infernapes without a name change can really give my opponents a headache trying to decipher which one is what. I have at least two of most pokemon I would use competitively, all of which can give my friends a hard time if it's a physical, special, or mixed sweeper, baton passer, choice bander, or suicide.

But I still lack originality (OωO)

I'm not really into competitive pokemon, but I never thought of it that way. That's pretty smart.

Some of the nicknames you can apply are just for humor though. I've named a Gorebyss "Luvdisc", and a Jynx "Lady Gaga".

"Lady GaGa used Sing!"
"But it failed!

A few games ago I tried to nickname every Pokemon I caught lol... I definitely don't have the creativity to keep up something like that.

So now I just give names to my main team and leave it at that.
