I did beat SMRPG last night, after taking a long hiatus for some reason...ahh..what a long, satisfying, amazing game...

Last boss fight was way trippy though...

Lazy Shell armor = OP.

Yeah, Lazy shell (Weapon) on Mario and Lazy shell (armour) on Peach makes the whole thing easier, I don't recall dying with a lot with this combination.

Did you fight the bonus boss? He is harder.

Mario and Peach are broken in this game >_>
Peachs can revive, heal etc. and is stronger than Bowser with her frying pan, not mention the lazy shell >_>
Mario has the strongest attack in the game and is very sexy.

I need to play TTYD >_>

1000% agreed. the thousand year door i have only been able to beat once though because the shadow queen is tough as nails!
paper mario to has had some of the toughest final bosses i have ever faced. Bowser put up a crazy fight in the first one, and took me about 6 years to beat(either that, or i was just REALLY bad). and the shaow queen was just crazy hard too. did anyone else find them extremely difficult?

Well, I'm on the thid stage now, I'm level 8, right now my badges are set to make up for my lack of health and provide my team mates with the ability to make up for Mario's short comings.

Badges I use for sure:
Partner Swap- So its basically like I have one partner with a ton of moves and huge health. Doesn't really become truly useful until I have Miss Mousey leveld up so I get her kiss, Vivian to burn the enemy, and Bombery to set up later damage in the future, as well as the turtle for his protective shell move. There are lot of team combinations you can pull with this badge, its truly amazing.

2 Happy Hearts to gradually recover health in a long battle, these along with slow shroom rocks.

Flower Saver Partner- Since I'm using my partners so much and have limited myself to only 10 flower power and 1 flower power badge, this allows me to get more moves off in the match not having to worry about spending time using a honey syrup, though I use Slow Syrup in boss battles combined with this as well so it appears as if I cut my flower points even more. To use my Shell to Mouse Kiss combo, this is all very important.

So there you have it. This is my strategy for the Badge point only run through. The last boss is going to be hell in a basket.

I think the double-pain run is a badge that deal 2x the damage, I don't own this game, but I'm sure I've heard it before.

I've heard some things like that on gamespot a month/a few weeks ago, when I was obsessed with buying this game (still want it though, but I stopped from fear of spoilers )

EDIT: I checked on google because this seems fun, I read some thing called Jumpman and Hammerman run, which got rid of all of Marios attacks, so he had to depend on his friends and items.


That seems like so much fun :O
I only checked because I'm very interested in this game, the runs looks fun :O

@Pshycho: Maybe it's just me, it probably is since people didn't have trouble trouble timing Geno Whirl, but I could not time it right, I'd rather beat him with Mario, Peach and Bowser and I didn't actually have trouble, after I beat that woman in sky world (forgot her name) I just walked around randomly and actually found the fertilizer :O
If it wasn't for that, I'm sure everything would have been a *****, though I did switch it sometimes because it wasn't that fun :/.

☆ I'll die every time I encounter an enemy if I have two Double Pain badges one without raising my heath, that would be 2x harder than Muramasa The Demon Blade with 1HP. XD ☆

No. A double pain run is just like a regular playthrough except you must buy and equip the double pain badge as soon as possible (right after Chapter 1) and then play through the entire game with it. You can raise whatever you want when you level up though.

A good tip when doing the double pain run is to try and learn how to Super guard as many attacks as possible. They've saved me so many times. =P

What's the best thing to raise in Paper Mario, I like mostly raising BP since there are badges that raise HP and FP

Badge points are the best within reason. You should balance out Flower and Heart IMO and Vivian is the best partner hands down in terms of how valuable, useful, and how lovely <3

I've only played 5 and 8 but my favorite was Fish upon a star or that game where they shine a flashlight on Chain Chomp.

For 8 it was king of the hill, I think but my alltime favorite has to be fish upon a star or that flashlight game.

If they make a Mario Party 9, I hope the names are as good as 8.

Anyway, I recently tried doing a speed-run for SMB.1, it took me 8 or so minutes to get to level 8 =D
I consider that an acomplishment. Though it did take me 8 more minutes to die in 8-2 =/

Also, I've come to accept the Yellow and Blue toads in NSMBW, I was bit sad that they are player 3 and 4 and not Wario and Waluigi, but I've gotten over it <3
