Hiatus X Hiatus strikes again


.-. I expect an amazing spectacle from this series.

Akame ga Kill's manga's pretty good. I'm just hoping the adaptation does it justice.

I finished "Hataraku Maō-sama" (The Devil Is A Part Timer!)

It was done by White Fox.

It was a fun 13 episodes, I enjoyed it all. I got some good laughs from it, and the action was well animated. Everything was polished. The characters lacking a lot of development is the only flaw I had with it.

The story revolves around satan and one of his generals being sent to earth from his own world. His magic power is limited, and he has no way to get back. The pair begins to work on a way to get home. satan (known on Earth as Sadao Mao) gets a part time job at a fast food place named MgRonald. At the same time, a hero has chased them from their world, seeking to kill satan.

This is a great series that doesn't take itself seriously. The fights are especially interesting.

I would rate the series as an 8/10. I would recommend it, pretty fun to marathon.

Just started Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai and Akuma no Riddle. Not sure how I feel about OreImo yet, but so far I'm really digging Akuma no Riddle.

So basically you want a good mecha? FLCL, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gurren Lagann are pretty much what I'd recommend, I don't really watch many mechas.

but they are good mainstream anime with mecha in them

I thought of reading fairytail again, mainly because I heard Rogue and Sting came back.

I know that when if read it, it's just going to be more of it's excessive fanservice, plot armor, bewbs, and friendship is magic bullcrap....

Hunter x Hunter set the bar too high, fairytail is nothing in comparison.

Plot armor on FairyTail's level is aweful. They literally pull every win out of their asses, and they ALWAYS win....

Assassination classroom is the next series on my list.

I really liked it. Covered the first chapter well and it was done great. Can't wait to see more.

Also watched the premiere of the new SAO. A slow start, meant to set up the whole GGO thing. I'll give it a shot to see how they'd handle shooters, even though the Alfheim arc was subpar.

Not much happens in the first episode of the second season. Without spoiling anything, we have the establishment of the apparent antagonist for this Gun Gale Online arc, Kirito being tasked to investigate these virtual shenanigans, and some Kirito-Asuna stuff. A slow start with negligible amounts of action. I want to see how the shooter action will actually pan out, so I'm willing to stick around for at least the next couple of episodes.

I am far more eager for AGK, though. Seems I may have found myself a new series to keep track of. 8D

Great chapter, lots of character development for Jean.

Seems there is a search going for the remaining Survey Corps members. I want to know where Hanji and the other SC members are. It hasn't said.....they would probably be useful at this point.

Those military police guys seem like they will be good allies. With them, the group should be able to find every MP location that they need. the next chapter will be interesting, a full out battle between SC and MP will happen. **** is about to get real.

Shirtless Levi fanservice....We all knew it was coming.

I'm starting to think Blue Exorcist is on a hiatus or it is cancelled. There hasn't been a chapter since 57 back in may.

This episode should have been the last episode of Season 1. Also, I enjoyed how the anime just blatantly throws spoilers in the ED. Mahouka for AoTS in the genre of comedy. I've never laughed so hard at such a pan faced destruction of a light novel that albeit is pretty awful, but not nearly as awful as the anime representing it.

Perhaps. I recall the end of S1 to have been fairly open-ended, with the dissemination of the Seed program. That wasn't a shoddy way to leave things, all things considered; it's simply the arc that preceded it that dragged it down.

As for the ending, I usually skip them, so I didn't stick around. I did see flashes of the GGO setting and whatnot (because I try to see the Next Episode previews). Maybe I'll go have another look at it.
