I've read about this article a little while back. I'm glad they caught the guy, but my goodness, the barbaric nature of it. Actually, no, I can't even say that, as it would be an insult to actual barbarians. The scary thing about this is that there are a lot of other people out there just like him. With give-or-take 7 billion people in the world, you know there's more nutcases out there.

Also, I like to address something about the whole grammar issue. While yes, I appreciate proper grammar and spelling myself, not everyone's perfect. Also, it's not too difficult to understand what Skweezy is typing if you at least try to read it. Here's a decent example below:

You're forgetting the fact that in my case the error was clearly accidental. This argument is fallacious at best, and I can't believe I'm actually having to explain this.

Purposefully typing incorrectly is not anywhere near the same as an unconscious little error, and you know it.

The funny thing is, I have like no bones about how people type, and generally when people do the whole their/they're/there thing among others, I generally just give the person the benefit of the doubt and assume they had a brain fart. I just find it really obnoxious the way people put themselves up on pedestals above people because of stuff like this, when quite frankly, a fair few of these people are kinda ****ing stupid themselves. I grew up with one limb in every part of the socio-economic ladder, and I understand that there's more to people than just how they write/type, and there are more factors to how they write/type than you might think.

The funny thing is I know you know i'm not dumb enough to unknowingly make an error like that, and the only reason you're actually arguing this is because you're upset because you like the guy and feel obligated to defend him.

In the past I used to make a lot of cracks about hating people, maybe for a short period of my life that was genuine. The funny thing is, it wasn't because of hoodrats like Skweezy, it was because of people with their hypocritical inflated senses of self worth, and genuine lack of ability to show any compassion beyond a surface level, and a complete inability to look at anything beyond a surface level.

So in short, maybe everyone should actually be more decent. I bet if you met Skweezy irl, you wouldn't be anywhere near as obnoxious, and that's not to do with fear of physical repercussions. This guy shows outrage at a pretty brutal crime, even if he isn't the brightest star in the constellation, at least you know when he's walking down the street late at night and some girl is stumbling home from the club, he's not going to **** her/shank her/rob her/all three.

This isn't true. Have you ever talked to a Jamaican online? Lots of these guys have hardly had any education at all, so they type phonetically online all the time. The whole idea is that he's writing phonetically BECAUSE he had a poor education and never learned how to write it correctly, and who can blame him, your language is a cluster****.

I didn't mean to suggest that merely writing the words phonetically means he must be educated (which is nonsense, especially with a language like English), but rather that the way he does it suggests that it is intentional, and not really reflective of a poor education. Some specifics of his writing suggests that he is trying to mimick AAVE, rather than actually writing in whatever his familiar English dialect is (though this is a debatable notion, since non-standard English dialects don't have a written standard), which is why I am inclined to think the TC is in character, rather than a poster whose socioeconomic background prevents him from being educated enough to know how to speak or write in American Standard.

I'm not criticizing the TC for it. I can't know for sure whether he's just trolling or whether he really just doesn't have a good enough grasp of written English. I'm just stating my opinion here.
