First off, I'd like to say I'm no n00b, just new to forums. I live in Jamaica, won some tourneys before, and now entered in a 2v2 tourney in a half a month. Sounds sad but i cant say I have a main, I was a Ganon main in melee and doin my best with a lot of characters in brawl but I've been doin best with Ganon. Was wonderin what you guys thought about Ganon partnerin up with toon link or wolf? Or should I start training up another character? i.e , Link, Fox, Falcon, Sheik?

Tried Pit last night with my team and I def seemed more effective with Ganon. I'll work on it, but just curious, whats your reasoning for using Pit?

Kitamerby meant your partner should be pit, not you...
Also, Mario replacing Pit should work, no?

Thing is I don't think my partners are down for switching up their characters, Im kinda the most skilled outta the bunch and use a lot of diff characters... a better question to ask might be if Ganon would be an effective partner for a toon link or wolf? And how would i play to compliment these two characters best?

Well, D3 works well with Wolf (Lucien and Zelgadis anyone?), but I can't say I know any good partners for Toon Link. I'm assuming Ganon would work well with him because all the other LoZ characters do well with him.

I would think so as well. From what I've heard, Ganon does well with projectile-based characters as teammates, and TL can play that game as well, if not better than Link. His arrows travel further than Link's when uncharged, for one.

No, Ganon can't gimp MK, G&W, Marth, etc with his dair. He can get a kill occasionally, but you can't chase off and return with a ridiculous recovery. In fact, their recoveries alone will often hurt/kill you when you try to gimp with a dair.

I think Ganon works best with a character that can support him well. Ganon can handle KO's and damage racking very well, and needs someone who can help stun opponents and push people towards Ganon so he can get his hits in. Some notable teammates I've found:

Kirby: He can crouch under Dair, jab, UAir, Ftilt. Basically all of Ganon's good moves except >B goes over Kirby, meaning he can crouch near Ganon and use tilts to set people up for Ganon's attacks. He also edgeguards fairly well, and can rack early damage to aid in Ganon's KO ability.

Ness: Fair works nicely to push people towards Ganon into stomp. Solid edgeguard and aerial game, he seems to cover the areas Ganon doesn't. PKfire is also a nice setup move.

Wario: He's a good all around teammate. He can deal damage, KO, and stock tank. Dair, Fair, and Nair all work well to pressure opponents towards Ganon.

ZSS: I haven't seen anyone use her in teams, but I imagine her stun gun thing would be great for setting up kills.
