Gaming Resolutions

Instead of general resolutions, these should be strictly geared toward gaming. Some examples would be to play a particular genre, spend more (or less) time with your system(s), or to try and achieve certain accolades within the games you already own.

Try to enjoy games more. I play with the "alright, let's play through this just to play it" mentality. It makes some games really frustrating, and it's a rare occasion that I actually have a lot of fun playing a game.

Save up enough for my new computer instead of spending it all on games, delve into the backlog of old games I need to play, play Planescape Torment, install Wasteland and play it, and play Daggerfall.

Try to restrain my self from dropping too much F-Bombs when playing FPS's. Seriously i drop one every minute even when i don't die.

Get a job so i don't go dry and go buy more stuff i should be buying.

Play more RPG's. The only RPG's I extensively played this year where Pokemon Platinum and Final Fantasy IV. Seeing a **** load are coming to the DS this year, time to start.

I'm gonna try and bring the number of Final Fantasys I've finished up to three, from one (assuming FFCC: Ring of Fates doesn't count).

Let's see, I couldn't accomplsh playing all the games I wanted to play this past December, so this year I'm hoping to play and complete all my new games that i've gotten, hopefully spend enough time to actually spent time playing each game to it's fullest, though with college coming up, i'm not sure if it will be accomplished.

Play more Melee, and go to some tourneys. Other than that, beat MGS4( I'm playing the first 3 through again), and buy some of the other hot PS3 titles.

Pretty much this, although that's gonna be impossible. I procrastinate so much, I haven't even beaten Pokemon Diamond from the start of August. >.> I might have to start over again to get some better pokemon.


Overall, just not procrastinate, get a new GC controller before they're all sold out, maybe get an xbox 360, and do a few walkthroughs for some of my favorite (or requested) games.

Play games to enjoy them more often, actually END my PS2 collection (I keep saying I'm going to do it everytime I buy a new game but it never happens) play a Street Fighter game and enjoy it, go on a huge buying spree for my N64.

Look for mods for every game I have. I'm really lazy so I haven't even beat most of them vanilla yet. I also have to re-download the Half Life 2 mods I somehow lost.

They kinda just disappeared from my Steam list. I had Synergy and Zombie Panic but they're gone even though I don't remember deleting them
