the thing is
my store needs to make a profit
even if it's a little
if we make it $5 entry fee
people come and complain about payout
and our store doesn't get as much either
we also lower the pot
when it's $10
more of the pot is given out
He has a valid point. Twenty dollars would be easier for people to split and that way u guys get more money too. I also noticed 70% of the pot was being given out. It may make more sense to dived the pot like this:
1st. 40%
2nd 20%
3rd 10%
but thats just a suggestion

the thing is we would need other brawl+ setups
might be difficult to work it in this tourney, but we can try

Id rather do it the same day as a little side event. PLus people our bringing their wiis, place is too far for me to come out only for brawl+ XD. Not sure if its the same for others but its like 45 min away from me.

like maybe registration at 10 and start at 11.

Brawl+ side tourny sounds fun. But would the Brawl+ tourny be free? Because I think it would be stupid to charge to enter a tournament for a game that probably more than half of the people there havent even played, or arent familiar with. It should be just for fun IMO.

I doubt the store would run it if they didn't make a profit off of it though.
Just make it cheap or something lol. If you guys are going to run it I dont have a problem being there around 10-11ish. Id rather it be earlier anyway, hate staying late lol.

Yea that sounds cool. $5 aint too much. I dont feel the tourney should be free. Yes I understand making it free will allow for more people to enter, but if it were free im afraid people wouldnt care as much and would show up late and just sleep in. Thus, causing the other events to start later. So if u put a price on it people will show up on time for this which in turn will help assure the other events start on time!
