Just another day.
Not for 5 bucks just yet. I'm trying to go to Apex, so I'll see if I can't get better so I won't play so ****ty like I did in our MM.

the anubis strategy is letting lucario 2v1 while the other person planks so the lucario gets a stock multiplier for each person in the game. usually done with mk planking with uairs

and with wario, you cant hit him anyways when he doesnt want to be hit. and as an added bonus for camping, wario gets to fart on you.

Its stupidly effective for a myriad of reasons, in-game and mentally as well.

First pick I'd want to go to Battlefield or Smashville. Lucario has good platform pressure when they try to chase Wario

If we lose first game it's all about that whack stage, yo. Probably Delfino

Explain da K.I.D. I usually look at it from a perspective of what stages are good for your gameplay, what teams could hinder your strategy and what changes you would make, etc.

Lets take Rayku as an example because hes the most recent. And Michael because thats the freshest in my mind.

I dont know if he was being serious or not, but lets say Rayku just likes to pick stages he enjoys playing on and look cool. He'll be far more comfortable and will play the stage better if he likes it. even if it doesnt afford him any explicit advatages. Itll be easier for him to get into his zone because he likes the stage.

Michael makes a habit of counterpicking stages he knows next to nothing about solely due to the fact that hes been told that its a good idea. in game 3 of our MM he took me to norfair. He lost there, because even though its a potentially broken MK stage,he doesnt know how to make it that way because he has no experience with it. He ended up missing a platform with a SL glide and SDing his last stock.

and even still, you should be focused on making sure that your execution is on point. that your spacing and timing and reflexes are teh best that they can be before you worry about stages. Not to mention that in order for CPs to be good and as effective as they should be, you have to put a sizable amount of time into learning the ins and outs and nuances of a stage before you even think about pulling it out in a serious tournament match.

LOLOLOLOLOL top5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But seriously he has to be top 5 teammates in the game, maybe even top 3.
Perhaps. MK, Snake, G&W, Wario are universally amazing teammates. I might be missing someone. Not sure where to order all of them.

I'd replace either snake or DDD in the top 5 for Luigi.

Everything that limits him in singles completely disappears in doubles.

Probably Dedede. Snake is good for similar reasons, but trades some power for obscene range. I could agree with you. Luigi is there in the same way that G&W is; however, though G&W can camp hard, Luigi hits like a mack truck and can make more trouble with his offensive moveset than G&W can.

Ehh I'm not sure what to think with snake. He can't set up his basic camping strats like he can in singles. He's more of a stand alone character that fights off based on stage control which is tough to do in doubles. Not to mention that snake can get juggle trapped for a while.

I think an aggressive Snake works really well in Doubles. With a quick supporter like MK or Luigi (Cyclone), Snake can really abuse his stupid range and power. Because of the distance of his Cypher, his partner has plenty of time to make a safe area for Snake if he gets into trouble.

His aerials are also a lot more useful with a teammate that can either reset the field or punish opponents badly.

Yeah Delfino is definitely my favorite stage. I CP it often, especially when I play Ike.

It's good to pick stages you enjoy, because of what KID said. I like this guy
