Ok seeing is how everyone including there grandmother wants to be in the crew battle I figure we just do a Draft crew battle.

Draft crews are a good idea. We should pick two crew leaders and draft according to everyone who wants to be in it.
Or an even better idea would be to split everyone up into like..5 or 6 crews according to skill level to make things fair. Then hold a draft crew tournament :o That should be loads of fun.

I call being one of the crew leaders if you guys decide to go with that idea :o

This is Caty 3's draft crew rules

Draft Crews - $10 per person





Draft Crews:

There will be 16 draft crews, filling one single elimination bracket. Captains will be decided by power rankings/mlg points/teams placings. Once 16 captains are chosen, they will be grouped together to pick their teams.


Rules:
--Each man gets 4 stock
--Percent returns to 0 after you finish off an opponent
--Captain’s must write down a list of his players, what character they will each be using, and who is going first. Order can be decided play by play after the first man.
--Stages are the same as in singles.

--Coaching is allowed and encouraged during crews

--Payout is 60/30/10

I think thats pretty cool. Only I doubt we would have enough people to pay for $10 for crews since this tournament obviously is not as big as Caty 3. If we decrease the entry fee for crews to like.. $5, and have only first place take everything..that should work out better.
We would not be able to divide the pot with a good payout to everyone with $5.

Or if you want to just do it for fun, we could just allow everyone who wants in to be in..and pick crew captains based on skill with no payout in the end. :o But I personally believe people will play harder with money on the line, plus we would not have everybody there wanting to be in it, cause that would make the draft crew tournament go on forever.

My suggestion:
-$5 entry fee(Or less if you want)
-1st place takes all
-Single Elimination
-Seeding based off teams(or singles. its up to you)
-The amount of men and the amount of crews in the tournament will be based off of how many people decide to enter.
