Wow.... shiz really lost to nintendude...

this will teach the community a lesson lol. I knew shiz had fallen off considerably, but i didn't think it would be THIS bad

Now now, he has just arrived and is probably feeling out the game for the first time in a little while. I'm sure he'll be up to par eventually.
I doubt Shiz just suddenly went "meh", he's always been **** and probably always will be.

And nintendude took Armada to last stock in a bunch of friendlies yesterday, in the Peach IC matchup. That's really good

Shiz can dance, which gives him the edge over several players. Once he breaks the chains tied to those thousand or so sandbags, he will gain power well exceeding anything that we could possibly fathom.

btw, **** stream

not saying nintendude is bad

but shiz was top 3 in the world not too long ago

i did overreact a little tho'

and hearing that armada struggled with nintendude is reassuring

but srsly, i don't think its at all unreasonable to be surprised the set was so close

top 3? when was this? certainly not apex 2010, certainly not genesis ,1 if you're referencing rom1 please remember that this happened nearly THREE years ago. not too long ago doesnt really apply if over a year and a half.

and yes do remember its a friendly and he doesnt really play at all anymore

um

i live in FL. i know exactly how active shiz is

i think he was considered top 3 around genesis 1, wether he really was or not is another debate

but yeah def rom 1 too

but nitpicking my language isn't really the point of that post. I would expect rusty shiz to comfortably two stock nintendude, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that

You're just underestimating nintendude.

I'm not surprised a inactive shiz lost to a great up and comer in a....lesser known..matchup.

well...you'd expect wrong. i was pretty much expecting nintendude to beat him soundly.

nintendude would have been a good challenge for shiz even when he played actively.

nintendude does really good vs falco. he's also given PP and Zhu trouble in the past. his Ice climbers are annoying as hell to play against in that matchup, which i would know probably better than most people.

LOL i ****ing love you umbreon.

and lol okay on knowing how active shiz is but unless theres something outside of the tournament results that get posted(which involve MOST good players) that i don't know about then please do inform us of shiz doing rigorous training and being prepared.

as it is, rust applies to every player differently.

People are saying that other people are just underestimating Nintendude, but at the same do any of you expect Nintendude to perform well at this tourney? Because I think the general expectation is that Shiz is going to get 12th or so at this tourney.

nintendude would not have been a challenge for shiz when he played actively.

I've now backed up my claim with as much evidence and reasonable speculation as you have. It appears we're at a standoff.

...are you under the impression that I'm saying shiz was training rigorously or being prepared?

LMAO no, he just stopped rapping for 5 seconds, picked up his controller and hopped on the flight lmao
