i recently saw a video and the fox player started to do shine over and over again very quickly. Is it done by wavedashing out of the reflector and then shining again? can someone help?

yes. you shine again on frame 4. However, you have a significantly larger window to air dodge in order to wavedash (you have to shine on frame 4, to air dodge, there's a really large window).not to be overly picky, but you actually shine in the first frame after leaving the ground (frame 4). its the same frame you would airdodge on to wd.
No. more or less, you just need fast fingers. other than that, it's not very hard. Best way is to slide your thumb from y>b (but not back). Its funny but I'm at work ryt now so I don't have the game in front of me but I'm guessing that this shine-JC-shine combo would be really difficult to pull off simply because you'd either have to JC with X/Y meaning your thumbs gotta jump from one of those two down to B really freakin fast or you've gotta jump with the directional stick and quickly jerk it down again to shine really freakin fast.
Sounds hard as crap so correct me if theres an easier way cause I'm still pretty new to fox.
Lol. no. Falco's is slower w/ less net shield stun. Fox's jc shine is just better period. You gotta love it more with falco though, the rapid shines are really good shield pressure-rs.
you still have a several frame window to have a wavedash with enough length to do any maneuver outside of waveshining luigi.well duh. but WD sucks when you dont WD on frame 4.
