I could never figure out a way to make a Delphox mii, lacking the giant earfluff is just too much, but i'll check out the one that was posted before to see if they came up with anything interesting.

Just giant hair.I could never figure out a way to make a Delphox mii, lacking the giant earfluff is just too much, but i'll check out the one that was posted before to see if they came up with anything interesting.
Ugh yeah. If Delphox doesn't make it to smash; I hope they'll at least give us a Delphox hat. :/I could never figure out a way to make a Delphox mii, lacking the giant earfluff is just too much, but i'll check out the one that was posted before to see if they came up with anything interesting.
Or at least something orange that's not a Daisy wig.Ugh yeah. If Delphox doesn't make it to smash; I hope they'll at least give us a Delphox hat. :/
A few random moveset ideas:
-Delphox can inflict burning with her Smashes
-Delphox can inflict the Spicy Curry effect on herself
-Delphox can cripple the opponent's attack power
All of the attacks is a bit much, maybe Smashes only?
I also have an idea on how Future Sight could work:
Delphox bows forward and her stick's fire glows blue for a second.
If the flame touches the opponent, the opponent be marked with light blue fire at their feet.
When they attack Delphox, the flame explodes and opponents are launched.
Wow, you're practically a fountain of ideas. If you feel you can put a whole moveset together, then by all means, go for it!I have two more "proposals" for a moveset:
-Should Delphox have any "tricksy" moves that steals items (Switcheroo, Magic Room)?
-Should Delphox have any buffing moves (Howl)?
-Should Delphox have any nerfing moves (Lowering attack power, lowering speed)?
I feel the former is more suited for Braixen and not so much for the graceful and fair Delphox, though she is a fox and those are tricksy.
The second one does fit her as a mage, but I'm not 100% sure yet.
For the last one, I do think Delphox needs a "Burning"-effect in her moveset that cripples attack power.
What do you think?
I'd actually considered having our version of Mystic Fire have an effect on hit that lowered opponent's damage outputs for a little while, but I decided to pass on it for now. Maybe we'll put it into v2 of the set, but for now if you feel you can get it to work in your own moveset, go ahead!I had an idea about Mystical Fire and all of her fire attacks crippling the foe's attack power, but I'm still trying to think about ways to balance it.
I'm more a fan of this one, personally...although it's not already in the game, so we'd need a new Pokémon stage among however few DLC stages they want to make...Btw about the potential trailer for Delphox, they better have this the theme:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyrRzSfIqZQ&feature=youtube_gdata_player
It actually isn't, somehow. Victory Road is, the Champion's theme is, but not the Elite Four theme. Even though it takes place where you fight the Elite Four. Also, as for the theme music for a potential Delphie trailer, here's the one I recommend:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7r-M0isViaQ It's the X and Y Elite Four Battle music. I'm not sure if it's in the Wii U version, after all, I don't have a Wii U. For the second part of the trailer, if it cuts through music, like Mega Man's trailer, fast forward to 1:05.
Well, Shay and I came up with one inspired by one of Delphox's Pokédex entries:I feel like addressing something I haven't seen any of us address. Say Delphox makes it into Smash, all our dreams come true, yeah, yeah... but. What would Delphie's Final Smash be? I haven't seen any of us give this thought any thought whatsoever. Any ideas, anyone? I'm not sure of many myself, I'm still thinking... *thinks*
And we turned it into this:Using psychic power, it generates a fiery vortex of 5,400 degree Fahrenheit, incinerating foes swept into this whirl of flame.
It doesn't always have to be a specific move--Greninja combines a few, and Lucario's in Brawl was completely original. As long as if feels true to character and appropriately powerful, it can work.Final Smash: Inferno Vortex
Delphox lets out a howl that echoes though the air, and levitates to the center of the stage. Countless flames come to life around her, quickly forming into a massive tornado of fire that spans 1/3 of Battlefield in size and rises to the upper blast zone! The player can guide the vortex left and right, and anyone caught in it takes multiple strong hits before being thrown violently out of it!
-If used on a scrolling stage, Delphox and the vortex both move along with the scroll, as with similar Final Smashes.
Great idea! I feel dumb that I didn't think of that. But on an unrelated note, Ness stole Lucario's Final Smash...It actually isn't, somehow. Victory Road is, the Champion's theme is, but not the Elite Four theme. Even though it takes place where you fight the Elite Four.
It's strange. Oh well, at least we have that godlike Route 10 remix?

I like to think of it more as being repurposed, since it was a better design than the crapshoot that was the Brawl version of PK Starstorm.Great idea! I feel dumb that I didn't think of that. But on an unrelated note, Ness stole Lucario's Final Smash...
Good point. Just out of curiosity, have any of us given thought to Delphox's physics? Fall speed, jumps, horizontal air movement, weight, et cetera? I'll think about it a bit and post some ideas in the morning.I like to think of it more as being repurposed, since it was a better design than the crapshoot that was the Brawl version of PK Starstorm.
We thought of that, too.Good point. Just out of curiosity, have any of us given thought to Delphox's physics? Fall speed, jumps, horizontal air movement, weight, et cetera? I'll think about it a bit and post some ideas in the morning.
If you have a different take on it, though, I think we'd all be interested to see. The more variety in ideas we have, the better, you know?Size: 7/10
Weight: 89 (Upper-Lightweight, T-38th w/ Peach)
Walk Speed: 1.19 (Semi-fast, 18th, ahead of Link and Mii Swordfighter but behind the Pits)
Running Speed: 1.7 (Semi-fast, 19th, ahead of Mewtwo and Wii Fit Trainer but below Donkey Kong)
Jump Height: 6/10
Air Speed: 1 (Average, T-24th w/ Rosalina, Robin, and Little Mac)
Fall Speed: 1.35 (Semi-Floaty, T-35th w/ Zelda, Olimar, and Pac-Man)
Attack Strength: 5.5/10
Attack Speed: 4/10
Combo Potential: 6/10
Kill Power: 5/10
Recovery: 6.5/10
Size: 7.2/10(A lot like Mewtwo's size)We thought of that, too.

Tower of Mastery is a great idea for a stage. My personal favorite cry is Reshiram's or Absol's.I really hope Delphox would come with a DLC stage. The stage could include all the good songs in the XY OST like Lysandre's Theme, E4 Theme, Super Secret Training, Kalos Legendary Theme, and the Rival Theme. I'd love if they remixed a handful of them, the remixed themes are gdlk in this game.
The stage could be the Tower of Mastery, Cerulean Cave, or something else that'd be interesting.
Oh here are some fun facts of Delphox. Iirc, Delphox is the lightest fully evolved starter (yes, lighter than Greninja), has the highest BST of the Kalos starters, the highest special attack of any starter (before Mega Evolution), and she has the best cry of any pokemon (alright, that's just my opinion haha).
Interesting. It seems like you went for a more defensive build. Walk speed is just a little behind what ours was (I think you meant 1.17, by the way), but run speed is actually on the slow side. Meanwhile, you have her as a middleweight (same weight as Robin, even) where ours has her on the border between mid-light and lightweight. How do you figure the extended double jump factors in, from a thematic standpoint?Size: 7.2/10(A lot like Mewtwo's size)
Weight: 95(Given they are two pounds different in Pokemon, it makes sense for Delphie to be one weight higher than Greninja)
Walk Speed: 1.71(Just below, just ahead of
)
Run Speed: 1.49(Just ahead of, just behind
)
Jump Height: 7.8/10(She isn't anywhere near Falco, who has the game's highest jumps, but she has the Mewtwo/Ness/Lucas/Yoshi jumping style.
Air Speed:1 (Makes sense how you have it)
Fall Speed: 1.28(Tied with, they seem to have overall similar physics)
Those are my ideas on Delphie's physics. Feel free to comment or use them, thanks.
I remember back in the winter I wondered if we might get a Cerulean Cave stage to go along with Mewtwo. Turns out new stages may only be for special circumstances...or perhaps every newcomer will have one. Who knows?I really hope Delphox would come with a DLC stage. Another supporter! It seems like our ranks keep growing every day.Even though we could of had two fire pokemon I would've been more hyped for Delphox as the gen 6 rep in smash 4 than Geninja. As much as I like frog characters in video games I really dislike Greninja's playstyle and design. I just don't like him.
A mage fox that's a fire/psychic sounds pretty neat. It would be great to have more magic like fighters in Smash. I also liked Delphox's design, and the previous evolutions, since they were revealed.
I really appreciate that extreme ear fluff.
I'm not sure about a thematic point, but it seems the psychic-enabled characters(Characterized by the recent Conquest, which grouped Mewtwo, Ness, and Lucas, all three psychic-power characters) having a floaty second jump, and I guess it kinda fits for Delphox. Also, I think I may have found a way of garnering support for Delphox: I posted a picture on ifunny asking for help and support, and directed them here. I hope that'll help.Interesting. A stage based on the Tower of Mastery would be cool, though. What would its setup be like? Any effects mid-battle?

Hmmm... It's worth a thought. Though, generally, the Pokemon stages have been buildings or cities. If there are some I would like to see, it would be Bell Tower(HeartGold/SoulSilver), Hoenn Pokemon League(AlphaSapphire/OmegaRuby), Fullmoon Island(Diamond/Pearl/Platinum), starring Cressalia and Darkrai, Axle Town(Pokemon Rumble Blast), Temporal Tower(Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky), or Dragonspiral Tower(Black/White/Black 2/White 2). Those are just my ideas.Or what about a stage based on a route? We haven't had one of those before.
Plus, it'd mean we might get a remix (or even the regular version) of this:
Blast Burn? None of the Pokemon featured in Smash have a Hyper Beam-esque Final Smash anyway. Since Delphox has no MeVos either, it's perfect to justify a different ultimate attack that doesn't involve a magical rock.I feel like addressing something I haven't seen any of us address. Say Delphox makes it into Smash, all our dreams come true, yeah, yeah... but. What would Delphie's Final Smash be? I haven't seen any of us give this thought any thought whatsoever. Ah. Not sure. It could be, I'll discuss it with Delzethin.Blast Burn? None of the Pokemon featured in Smash have a Hyper Beam-esque Final Smash anyway. Since Delphox has no MeVos either, it's perfect to justify a different ultimate attack that doesn't involve a magical rock.
The only problem with Blast Burn is...the name is taken.
Hm. You have a point there. I wonder if they'd be willing to do that with two attacks that function very differently.
Let's consider that two characters with the same name are in the roster with no problems and that Mario!Roy's inclusion was seen as a roadblock to FE!Roy's return. A move sharing the same name is hardly an issue in comparison.
I wonder if they'd be willing to do that with two attacks that function very differently.
I'm gonna head over to Serebii and see if I can get the scoop on all things Pokken soon. They have all the latest news, so if anything we has been announced, Serebii has it.I have to admit, I'm surprised by the total lack of new Pokkén news so far. Is there really nothing new in the base version? Are there really only eight characters for now?
I mean, I wasn't expecting anything Delphox-related, but it wasn't out of the question. But there being nothing new is strange...
I checked it out, and it got me really worried again. Delphox could be in trouble.Any of our regulars who are active elsewhere on the character boards: Have you heard of Rate Their Chances? They analyze various DLC candidates and other content as they're nominated, rating them in how likely people think they are and how much they'd want them in Smash.
Tonight we're discussing Delphox.
If anyone feels like they have an opinion to provide, go ahead and join in. Just be sure to be honest about your ratings. Skewing the Chance results would only make us look bad, but enough presence in the thread could help us gain some new supporters.
