Blowing yourself up XD? Yeah it's probably worth the damage but it'll still put you at a disadvantage if the falco is a fighter. In hand to hand Snake has a ground advantage but falcos ability to camp still makes the matchup pretty even IMO.

And the only real way to "combo" or get strings of punishment in brawl is to predict airdodges and sidesteps. It sorta requires a different kind of mindset from Melee (not that I played melee competitvely so what do I know).

Snake destroys falco in every aspect on the ground, you can even outcamp falco, If you time your grenade pulls and throws inbetween falco's lasers.....

40% is very much so worth it.
Not to mention falco dies like..50% earlier then snake does.
ITs better that then losing a stock.

Anyhoo i'd prolly fight a falco with my wario anyway.

Im already good with several characters. Using multiple characters comes naturally to me. In 64, and Melee I learned to use every character well, and in brawl, I'm well on my way.

On paper Snake destroys falco, but it's not like falco doesn't have options. Falco can reflect grenades that snake throws between lasers, and you can SHlaser to SHdair, Dash attack, DACUS, Shine or grab. If you mix these up you can keep snake guess, and anytime he reacts incorrectly, you get damage. I'm not gonna get specific, but in matches like SK92 vs. Meep, Snake clearly doesn't **** Falco if you play the matchup right. Falco has options, and snake has options, it just comes down to skill from there.

Anyhoo i'd prolly fight a falco with my wario anyway.

My fingers don't move fast enough to perfectly wavedash and L cancel junk everytime, so I find myself fumbling the controller trying to do stuff. I can only shorthop with falco lol (which is cool cuz I use Falco) and I havent played it in a while.

I think I could be just as good as I am in brawl, and when I watch videos I can see the mindgames and read similarly to I would in brawl, but when I try it in the game my fingers won't move fast enough.

It sorta sucks. But if I'm ever at Gigs you can teach me lol.

All you have to do is practice. No one waveshines right after they put the game in for the first time.

u dont gotta be that technical trust me. but ima see u at a toruney and IF ur are as good as u say u are. orr have some kind of huge potential. u can easily be without a doubt good at melee.

It's not like a **** matchup, but Wario punishes so hard. Sure you get a free 60% with CG to DACUS, and you can release grab to spike, but the way wario moves...is so gay XD.

I didn't suck in Melee. In fact, I never lost to anyone...ever. But I acknowledge that's because I never even knew about the competitive community until like 2006. By then I was so used to playing without those things I didn't bother adapting. But for my knowledge of the metagame, I was about as good as you can possibly be. I never lost in 64 either, but I was like 9 lol.

inui, while it is true that im not that good vs diddy, it doesn't mean NinjaLink isn't probably top 5. He still beat every other MK but plank and you and only played you once when he said he has been up for 40 hours before hand, and his loss vs plank was before esticle so he very well may have gotten better since then. He 2-0d chillins falco (both extremely close games though) despite NL admitting falco has the clear advantage. The one match of the 4 against DSF that he actually went Diddy, he won 2 stock low % on smashville vs his DDD. The other games he went rob and lost and kirby and got ***** on rainbow cruise. He 2-0d Neo with Rob, and always beats atomsk to my knowledge as well. He's also been winning NY tourneys lately. If NL only did well vs me I wouldn't think that much of it, but he does well vs many other people too.

Yeah I agree. I go Falco, or even Pikachu just because it's more fun and less annoying than using Meta. People are more prone to nade camping meta for fear of nado etc, so you can get a less annoying matchup that way.
