see top players. you cant assume a scrub to grasp calculus (top level mentality and strategies) if they dont even understand the concept or even know the foundation such as algebra (basics and mechanics)

IMO the problem is that the school system in Florida is used for certification instead of education.

Anyways, I wouldn't really call Florida's school system as a whole to be bad. It really depends on where you go and how determined you are to learn.

The people who learn well in FL's schools could probably learn better in self-study. Naturally it depends on learning style and preference for environment, but most of the time people learn in schools by adaptation by the student (and sometimes the teacher), not by design.

Eh, just speaking from my own experiences. Growing up in a social environment that encourages learning seems to be more beneficial, though. That way you'd be able to make friends with your other classmates and with the teachers, too. Social development is also an important aspect of schools, you know.

I just got bored of the stuff being taught to me or I didn't get it and it was too confusing. Everything about school made me mad. = /

If they replaced every class with "These are your subjects, study them yourself" nearly everybody would fail.

as far as the rest of you:

as a person who's living in the age in which you'll suffer the most if you dont have schooling (past college age), i can tell you from watching other *****s that not finishing school is quite possibly the worst decision you can make in your entire life, and I highly disapprove with every cell in my body.

I dont think you guys quite understand yet really how ****ed you are if you havnt finished at least high school. You dont quite understand how money works or how much things truly cost to live. You dont want to learn that lesson AFTER you get thrown out of your parents house due to age, and you dont make enough money to survive, far be it enough to enjoy any of the video game tourneys and events you do now. I have a job and I cant even go to everything, but you guys wont be going to **** at that point. And then what would be the point? Too broke to have any hobbys and live comfortably, and more jobs will become your hobby.

Point being, Xaltis and GreenAce (i actually didnt know greenace was in this crowd too), get back to ****ing school and finish that ****. Theres no excuse to not finish high school...college you can have money johns but at least with a high school diploma you can get a decent job enough to be able to do other things, and its not like you're even paying for it cause high school is free minus supplies and lunch.

Take advantage of my experience and listen to what I am saying. I wouldn't troll you about real life problems
