There is only one place this is coming from. You losing to Taylor when you're beginning to understand the game is to be expected. You're not going to realize one thing and become unbeatable. It takes time to understand it.
Diddy Kong vs Falco is 50-50. Maybe 60-40 Falco-Diddy
I don't mean to be a ****, but I'm just going to say that changing characters isn't going to make a lot of everything easier, since you're coming from Diddy Kong.
There's nothing wrong with Diddy Kong. If every Falco main quit at the sign of bad matchups, they'd all be gone once Pikachu realized his cg. Sometimes you need someone to tell you.
You're finally understanding how to play the game and you want to quit?
Understanding doesn't mean you know it. You're still going to lose, but at least now, you can work to make it better.

DFEAR, while playing another game is good, let me warn you to NOT pick up another character. You will have to learn 36 match-ups, while most of the people probably already know the Match-up (Like if you were going to switch to MK or Snake). Do not do that.
HOWEVER, what you can do in friendlies is just take a break from Diddy for like a week or 2 weeks. It will open your eyes to more things about like "Man, if i was diddy I could've totally punished this with ______" Trust me it helps.
Playing MvC3 won't help you with Brawl at all.
BTW, losing to the best player in the state and Xaltis isn't bad man. With Justin's coaching Xaltis is like a top 5 player in the state.

Taylor went MK like...1 match maybe and got 4th. If we look at his other tournament results we definitely dont see the same thing.
Dfear im down for hiatus man, sometimes taking a break is good and there is nothing wrong with it. But don't quit man. Didnt you beat Nick in a MM this tournament? You are seeing yourself improve and you know it, but sorry man it doesn't happen over night. It takes time, lots of time. **** look at me man, i was placing 7th and down when i came back and finally after almost like 8 months or whatever (4 months of MK...or somethin like that) i got 3rd. Literally what tommy said is right. You understand now, but you are still going to lose, everyone loses, but atleast now you can work to make it better.

Oops the sensei title threw me off cause you both have it, and actually I was Falco on rainbow against MVD. Now that you mention it, I DID go mk against justin on rainbow, but I didn't win the set, so MK doesn't get counted for in the (who i used in the tourney) thing.
