If you want optimized pairings, this might help:I keep playing the game, then stopping and trying to figure out how to mix and match parents to get the best child. And never quite figuring it out and never starting again for a long time
Oh lord. Well, I'm nice, so I'll link you to this thread now. You might need it.So, guys. I'm starting up a Lunatic Classic run on FE:Awakening. I've never beaten Hard Mode, so this should be fun. I'm betting that my only living units will be the required ones by the end. I'll give you guys periodic updates on how it's going.
It actually makes the moment super emotional, so I usually do it just to make it a more emotionally interesting story. Why would you want Jill to kill her own dad again? I mean, sheesh.
I never did it because... It just seems cruel. I usually had Ike kill him, and that's bad enough as it is...It actually makes the moment super emotional, so I usually do it just to make it a more emotionally interesting story.
You can't have Resolve+Wrath for the Black Knight fight. You get the Resolve scroll during that chapter and can't equip it until you're at base next chapter.Resolve + wrath is better because 42 speed is OP. Lets you double BK and Ashnard and dodge relatively everything. Also massive strength buff as well with crits making it stronger than aether. Skill buff means higher crit rate plus wrath so 60-70% crit rate
This caught me off guard. Freaking LOL.Deceased:
Vaike (Chapter 2, Forgot his axe.)
Actually, Virion!Brady could very well be S as well. Brady has everything he needs, and 45 speed + Hit +20 as a bonus are pretty great, after all.Virion!Brady: A
I agree that Virion!Brady is quite good, but you have to realize the connotation behind what I posted: these results were voted on. What I didn't say was that the results were averaged, not a simple majority, due to low vote count. Some children like Nah, who are unpopular, only got 4 votes, while popular ones like Severa got a lot more. So while Virion!Brady might be just as good as some other pairing, this is the average of many people's opinions.Actually, Virion!Brady could very well be S as well. The stories for each game are almost all their own universe, if you will. Awakening is set on the same continent as another FE game, but several thousand years later, so the references are minor.Hey, looking to get Fire Emblem Awakening soon and I was wondering a few things; I'm completely new to the series, only jumping on because I heard such good things about it. Would I need to know much lore to get the gist of it or is it a self-contained story? And I've also heard that it's hard, but how so? I know about the whole perma-death thing and I've managed other games where that's a key component, but exactly how difficult is it? Like XCOM hard?
It really helps you make better tactical decisions, but losing 45 minutes by slipping up right at the end of a map (or getting bad luck) has been enough to make me not frown on casual mode. I wouldn't do casual mode on your first save file, but if you're going to replay the game again, it would help you complete maps a bit faster to go with casual mode... Unless of course you let people die, which some do. Then there's no difference. I just very rarely ever let characters die, unless it's one I generally don't care about. Thanks guys. I'll probably keep perma-death on, against what is probably better judgement. Adds more tension.
I understand. I just didn't appreciate the lack of character developement. Granted, there was a lot of pre-battle and post-battle prattle that did the job, but it's hard to have too much character developement.Radiant Dawn has a support system, just not a character development one. The conversations were all generic 1 liners. Gameplay wise, its the best support system as anyone can support with anyone so you can you own custom duo pairs you want. Awakening has a good balance between gameplay bonus and character development.
