Indeed, I did use a Pokemon Map editor called "Advance Map". It's very convenient as it allows you to edit the maps, which you can read in via rom.

How are you calculating attack speed? Or is there no restriction on speed by weapon weight?

I'm guessing the critical bonus is umbrella'd into all forms of extra damage such shooting fliers with arrows, landing a critical hit by critical rate, or weapons like Hammer which did triple damage to armor units.

There will be no restrictions. The Spd value of a unit will always be its AS.

No, sorry for the confusion. It will be 2x damage but that will be noted in the weapon section of the character profiles anyway. Only criticals do 3x damage.

Not drawing but it's about getting the character profile into an "optically attractive shape". Right now it's just a bunch of excel numbers.
