bolded the ones that I think should be considered

Edit: about shade/provoke, I think if a unit is within range of 3 squares of another friendly unit, then it takes effect, otherwise the skill doesn't take effect. Unless someone knows how provoke/shade exactly works? Stillness then has a point.

By the time this has started, I'll have finally gotten through RD!

Outside of that specific game, I've beaten HHM, 8 hard, 9 hard, 6, and Shadow Dragon. Working on 6 hard now, but **** units showing up before enemy turns.

Umm... so... I'll need to do research.
Put me as whatever skill level you want.

I've never completed a Fire Emblem game in specific, but I'm experienced with SRPGs in general. I suppose this puts me at unexperienced, though.

This is getting filled pretty quickly. My original plan was to allow no more than 16 players so no team will have more than 4 attendants but if a lot of people continue to sign up I will expand the player list.

Somewhere boring.
This sounds quite interesting. I'll join. I've beaten Path of Radiance on Normal, and played through most of Radiant Dawn, also on Normal. I'd say I'm about average skill level.

/in.

I beat FE7 On Normal mode, and I've dabbled in 6, 8, and 9. I also got decently far in shadow dragon.

Maybe if we're lucky we can get 32 people, 8 groups of 4
Forming 8 parties out of 60 units? The map design allows for 4 parties ideally but I could compromise 6 parties of 10 units each if it doesn't work out.

Though I will probably go with 4 parties still. I doubt we'll have more than 24 people in the end and somebody might drop out again. We'll see.

Every unit can get picked twice basically. No repeats for the same party though. But nevermind that, 32 seems unlikely, so just bigger parties I guess. Or you can just make a sub party for people to replace those who become inactive.

A sample map has been added to the OP. It will be the first map you will fight on.

I'm gonna assume...

light blue water = armor/horse can't travel
blue water = only pirate/berserker
1 block = 1 block in the pokemon world

The one block part is correct. However, all units can cross shallow [light blue] water. Details on terrain will be added but don't expect any revolutionary change from the original games.

I realized the bottom corner would be blocked off from having cavalier and armor units if that wasn't the case now. Fair enough. Will forests and forts be added?

Forests will be there for sure, Forts I will try to implement as soon as I find something that fits the layout of the maps. Any help is welcome here btw.

Grass can easily take the place of forests or shrub bonuses since forest doesn't really exist in radiant dawn. Nor do forests in most situations. A healing bush is sort of what does that. Although, you could probably reuse the defence, healing, avoidance tiles in the endgame chapters. Ignoring defence bonuses though. Shallow water seems like something similar to the swamp levels with reduced movement for characters.

Hmm, I think I'll join in on this.

I'm fairly well-versed in Fire Emblem, played all of the games released in America as well as the New Mystery of the Emblem game.

yea but shallow water prevented cavalier and armored units from traversing over them which would trap units in the bottom left corner if they started there. So there had to be a bit of mitigating.

Considering its pokemon, just grab small grass to equal forests, and thick grass to be healing bushes. Forts can be the small stones to save time in finding fort sprites, and the big stones should just be obstacles.

Considering Forts don't exist in RD and healing bushes serve pretty much the same purpose I will just use grass tiles to represent the different kinds of bushes.

Nick, the CRK chapters are cake. Geoffrey, Kieran, collect win.

Dawn Brigade are the only difficult chapters in the entire game.

Yeah, but... I just don't like it.
It's my first playthrough, so I'm just using who I liked in PoR... and that doesn't work... which is ****ing stupid...
WHAT HAPPENED TO MY MARCIA AND NEPHENEE?! I HATE THEM IN THIS GAME! :c

Neph is still extremely good, she just starts slow without transfer bonuses.

Peg knights just suck. Use Haar and Jill, collect win.
