I don't think your points make Ranmaru town at all. If both our wagons were town, he could have simply been avioding being on a town lynch. Which makes more sense to me. For him to derail like that so close to the deadline is not a town action. He's paying no attention to the game.

I'll be stunned if glg is scum and Ran isn't.

However, glg flips scum: Ran and Ryu should be put aside. Along with anyone who has been pushing his lynch hard (obv).

Ran has no way of knowing this.

He could THINK they were both town, sure. But there's no way he has it confirmed they're both town unless he's scum (or some sort of knowing role, which would likely be independent seeing as how he didn't stop anyone and say "lynch me today and get all this cool info").

So...

My point still stands.

If he merely thought "hey, they're both town" that doesn't excuse him from voting X1 right before deadline when there's a two-pronged lynch going on.

If you're referring to any questions you asked previously, I probably ignored them. Ya know, looking for a lynch instead of waiting until right before deadline and trying to derail town now and Zen.

If you've got an important and relevant question to ask Zen, now's the time to ask. Even if I don't answer it during twilight I'll have time to re-read D1 and answer them at the start of the Day.




By the way Luxor, good job on the deadline extension. We got ourselves a lynch out of what would have been a no lynch. Going to give a +town cookie to you and Ran both now. Still think Nich is town, but needs to be watched.

Because Nich's play reminds me of his play in previous games, specifically when he feels he is in a place of importance. Activity johns aside, I noticed his play was a little bit odd early on. Felt like a power role. He gets pressured to claim? BAM. Power role.

On top of all this, he hasn't done a single scummy thing in my eyes.

I'll admit, I don't like his claim. We can't prove him wrong at all. If he's scum, he could easily be a janitor. Hell, there doesn't even have to BE a janitor. He could just say "hey, we're scum, there's no janitor, I'll claim anti-janitor!". His secondary ability is, again, unconfirmable. We don't even know if it is particularly sane, or how it works with things like independent or millers. Would a miller show up if they were on a lynch? Would an independent? I could see us getting into some "Yay, town wins!" scenarios where we follow a plan for three days but forget we're missing a piece of information and a mafia member just kinda sits on the side and lets us end the game for him. So no, I don't like it. But I'm choosing to ignore that claim in favor of looking at his actual content.


That grinds my gears. We're going to need to see more content out of Nich because we're basically claiming him as town the entire game with this play until we get other information. Other than a cop saying "guilty!" or some other investigative / watching ability seeing him do something opposite of what he says, there's absolutely no mechanical reason to suddenly say "let's lynch Nich now". As such, we need more activity from Nich so that we can at least force him to stick his neck out; he's already claimed, is potentially wasting a doctor role (GJ on directing the doctor Zen, really, that's never turned into a huge anti-town WIFOM situation before), etc., etc., so we need some content from him.

You're not good enough to convince me that your word is worthwhile. I consider you dangerous and dumb town at the very best. You are prime vig fodder because you've consistently lead town astray already on DAY ONE.

The whole X1 and Zen "I'm going to push for Gordito and then later say lol that was a dumb push it was a gambit"? How's that working out?

Because if GLG flipped scum, it's luck and you've already stated that it was a dumb push to begin with.

You started the Day off with some bull**** push on someone and now they're lynched at the end of the Day. That's how mafia works. Momentum builds, momentum can stay. I need to reread to figure out exactly how GLG and Nich became the targets, but after a certain point it was obvious they were the only targets available. I don't think GLG would have been a target without you and X1 pushing early in the day and basically acting like you knew more than you did.

IMO Cop should investigate Zen/X1.
A. Because we want to know what their affiliations are individually
B. Because if one IS town, we can (depending on the wording of the implied mason PM) confirm the other one as well. If one's scum... the other is scum, pretty much. One of them being a godfather would screw this up, though.

I mean the early push. I never wanted a GLG lynch. Only thing I think it would be good for is connections with Zen/X1 mostly.

Yes but ever since like post #200 I've been declaring Gord's slot as super obvious town. Did you read the game?
