Which reasons, Inferno?

Inferno just said "for reasons I have already stated" before Nich asked this. I see town who actually CARES about the answer asking this, not scum. If scum is told "I already gave my reasons", they will just assume there are reasons and say something like "okay" or "fair enough".

I was more or less asking whether you thought my case was justified or if I needed a reality check, since I trust your judgement ATM.


My read on him at the moment is basically null jerk. He's playing pretty similar to how he usually plays, with plenty of insults and not much explanation, and although I think it's really anti-town, it doesn't make him scum.

This is a post that isn't hard to fake, but it's still a townie thing to do. At first Nich is NOT deflecting, he is NOT OMGUSing, and he is NOT ignoring pressure.

HE IS ASKING PEOPLE QUESTIONS ON HIS WAGON TO UNDERSTAND HIS WAGON BETTER.

1.) Because you received a mafia role PM. That entails that you are not town. Not town roles are scum.

2.) Why would I do that? What do I profit from it? Right now I don't want to lynch them, so please tell me what I get out of explaining it to you (my scum pick).

And this is the kind of tunneling that, along with his influential personality, makes me think that Ryker is town that has snowballed this lynch off of personal reasons or off of tunneling, rather than keeping an open mind. His response here definitely looks like tunneling and has no actual reasoning.

No clue as to who his scummates would be but if he flips town I will be looking back and checking to see who endorsed Ryker's case without really explaining why and having no reasons of their own to vote him. I can't remember anyone's stance on Nich that doesn't have something to do with Ryker's case at this point so I figure scum must be hiding behind the generalities of just agreeing with a giant case. This includes you, Legolas, Raziek, Glyph, and Inferno, RR and Nickel I think... I haven't checked back to see if you guys highlighted some stuff you agreed with and I've completely forgotten whether or you guys had independent reasoning as to why Nich was scum. Not to mention regardless of flip, I still have to look into Kantrip, Seph, RR, Nickel, and Inferno because there's just not much to go on.

Ryker I don't see bending over backwards so hard just for a mislynch as scum.

I just have to say this is related to my read on Ryker from earlier which you expressed distaste for because it was meta. Ryker being motivated to play is more than likely a town tell which I said earlier so I don't see how you can dislike my reason when you're using this as a reason.

I posted that like last page, after Ryker built one of the biggest cases I've ever seen and stayed up like 6 hours crafting it.

That's a whole different ball game as far as 'motivation to play'. Before that really didn't strike me as much out of the ordinary for Ryker.

Are you talking about this opinion? Because this is what my opinion on the wagon is. I'm not certain whether or not he is scum but I would lean more towards the scum side as seen below. If you want it in black and white then yes I would think he is scum but that doesn't reflect my feelings on this issue and it's rarely ever that simple.

As for Nich, my read is conflicted because I have no scum-play of his to compare too other than the time he replaced into FF9 but I'm not sure how accurately depict his scum play seeing as how he was told to just coast/lurk. The fact that I also had to ask multiple times whether or not he agreed with T-Blocks accusation also didn't sit well with me. I find it that when you have to keep rephrasing/asking questions is a slight indication that someone is scum or at least hiding somerthing. At this point I'm not opposed to his lynch and need to be on it but there's nothing I can say for certain that makes me go "yeah this guy is definitely scum."

Ryker's been doing that sort of thing to me all day. What's worse is that people just randomly believe him. (For instance, that post you pointed out where I tried to figure out who on my wagon was scum or who was town was dismissed as OMGUS by him, and nobody had a problem with that IIRC.)

Personally, I think Ryker was very wrong on that count (and a lot of others), but there's little point in retreading that ground now.

And Rajam's not the only ridiculously inactive player. Seph, Nickel, and Red Ryu also haven't done much at all. (Out of which I'd say Nickel is easily the most scummy, since he basically just jumped on my wagon near the end and claimed to be completely caught up without giving much info at all.)

Yeah I'd wager there's for sure at least one scum in the inactive pool of Seph, Nickel, Red Ryu, and Rajam. Maybe even two.

Why don't we lynch Rajam, since you want him dead so bad. Not only do I think Nich is town, but he has a helpful one-shot ability.
