If Red Ryu is scum we can get rid of a potential night kill because he is claiming to be a priest. He may be a priest with reflect but I doubt it as Scary was the same thing. Unless mafia didn't get to pick their stuff together (which would be bogus), it'd be a really bad play.

So J can protect one person secretly

Red Ryu can protect one person openly (which can be J, given Ranmaru's town result)

The only way J could be scum would be if Ran AND J are both scum together and 4 mafia might be a little crazy and it'd be a helluva gambit

You say you got early Joey town feels but he does well regardless of alignment. The only thing that is concerning is he hasn't actually done anything else besides that, yet he has been up to date reading wise. Example is he liked some of Ryu's statements such as "I'm ignoring all questions", which was anti-town (it was to back up that he was ignoring all questions in the mini-game that he was mafia in, in my opinion, there was no reason to do that but to show consistency). Joey had nothing to say? He totally agreed with what Ryu was saying? I would think Town Joey may have disagreements or at least say more. I had early joey town feels too but I let him sit back at null for the very reason of neither of them being present in D1. REMEMBER THAT? Now he's still not here, and sure he has personal reasons but I don't think that should cover his entire absense from the game. (I respect whatever was going on)

So, not giving Joey the benefit of the doubt when he hasn't even been here to stick his neck out. He has been sitting safely on the perch of Rodrigo... OMG JUSTIN. Lol I didn't know Ryu's name until last Apex. Anyways, Joey doesn't deserve that credit almost up to end-game, earlier it was fine but now, it doesn't cut it. Sure he may have given reads back and forth with Ryu behind the scenes but I don't know what Joey really thinks, just that he agress with Ryu's pushes (by way of liking). I don't have a way of getting a bead on him.

From a non-meta standpoint, I haven't really seen anything pro-town from the slot, and I agree with Ran's assertion that Ryu has been semi-stanceless. Ryu is a strong townie when he is one, so the degradation of his play in this game really only makes sense if he's scum, or if he's becoming disinterested in playing mafia games in general.

As for Ran, he really is ignoring arguments and pulling out the tunnel-vision. That's not something I've seen from Ran before; nor have I ever seen him be the last remaining mafia in a game.

I targetted him because I felt he might be mafia. I went with my gut instead of going with Gheb. J had been keeping me at null all game, and jumps on me without any reason. Of course I wanted to explore him the most besides Gheb.

I also see no reason for Gheb to blind me. That is really anti-town, and then saying that I'm lying about his ability on me only makes me think he is mafia besides Vult.

I also don't see how his scumread on Ryu faded either. He pushed him to after Me, KwK, and Gorf.
