No. I actually rated Twilight Princess as one of my favorites if not my favorite. That game hooked me from "almost" start (the beginning was kinda mehhh) to finish. Loved pretty much every aspect of that game and would have no issue playing through it again at any time.

Once you get past the startup stuff, it basically only goes up and very little to no down. It's tied with SS for my favorite, I rank SS up there with no shame. It's not only tied for my favorite, but I think it legit can very well be the best game of the series. The overlying factor that I think is the only, or one of the very few, things that keep it from being the best is the startup sequence

There'll never be an easy time picking a favorite/best when it comes to Zelda, or any great series of video games. I need to play more handheld/2D ones, I haven't gotten to play a lot

Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword are my top 2 favorite Zelda games in the series, though if I had to pick one, I'd definitely go with Skyward Sword.

Definitely the two golden oldies of the N64 era Ocarina of Time blew mind back in the day; it was such an expansive world! Fighting Bongo Bongo was probably the highlight of the game for me!

As for Majora's Mask, that was one creepy, exciting, adrenaline-fuelled ride! And the Couple's Mask Quest made me feel like tearing up at the end. The sense of all your work each time coming to nothing was both engaging and heartbreaking at the same time!

These are definitely two games not to be forgotten!

My favorite is Wind Waker. It's such an underrated game & it gets so much hate from the Zelda fandom because of it's cartoony look. Doesn't stop me from loving it. <3

My top 2 are definitely Twilight Princess and Majora's Mask. Both games appealed to me so much, and the darkness of the games just made them even more interesting. It's not to say the others weren't good, they definitely were, but these are the ones that were really amazing.

Being able to turn to a wolf (my favorite animal) just made me happy! xD

I was never able to play the DS/3DS series, but I did see my brother playing Spirit Track. I don't think it will be to my liking using the stylus to move and attack.

1) Ocarina of Time (but I've idealized it for many reasons, I generally don't think about OoT just as a simple "Zelda")
2) Skyward Sword (sometimes I tend to consider it my favourite Zelda)
3) Majora's Mask
4) The Wind Waker (I prefer not to think about all those boring hours spent to sail...)

I have only played Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and Wind Waker HD. It's pretty sad. I really want to play more like OoT and Majora's Mask when I get the chance. I loved the three I played though and my favorite was TP because of the story line. It was also the first one I played so I hold it close to my heart lol. I borrowed it from a friend and don't own it myself so I have some regrets when it comes to getting all the collectibles and heart pieces.

For me, it's A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Wind Waker, and now A Link Between Worlds.
I've played and beaten A Link to the Past/Link's Awakening so many times now, and I've loved every playthrough. A Link Between Worlds has been a great game so far. It reminds me a lot of ALttP.
Wind Waker was my favorite experience though. It was bright, colorful, cartoony, and I love it. Seeing Hyrule in the game for the first time was an incredible experience. And the final battle against Ganondorf was just epic.

I kinda have to disagree....twilight princess was "dark" as in a color...but in Majoras Mask you literally watch a Zora DIE. I liked Twilight Princess for other reasons....it Introduced Zelda soo well! And at the end with ganondorf just sitting on the throne...like "LOL" was honestly one of the best moments in gaming for me.....not to mention Midna....she is an amazing character! she threw away the "hey listen" part and was like "look....i know you have no clue what the heck is going on here...but if you do what i say....in time you will...." She was..just so epic as a character. And (not that this is relevant) but the E3 trailer for the game, with all the hype and the ocarina trailer parody, was all a zelda fan could ask for. Over the years i have come to love this zelda game...and it will truly go down as one of the best video games of all time.

I have a special place for Phantom Hourglass. It was my first Zelda game, so naturally it's the one I like the best.

Majora's Mask is my all time favorite Zelda game. I really like how most of the game is you just going around helping and healing people. Seeing all of the people you've helped happy in the ending credits made me feel really good. I'm also a fan of the different masks, especially the bunny hood, stone mask, and the different transformation ones, mostly because they spice up the ordinary Zelda gameplay a bit. I'm into parallel world plots too (mostly because I like to think about all of the possibilities connected with alternate worlds and alternate versions of people and stuff), so the game's scenario is right up my alley.

I like pretty much all of the Zelda games I've played, really. The child Link portion of Ocarina of Time, especially the Kokiri Forest bit, is one of my favorite things in the series. I don't know, I guess I just like the idea of Link starting out in a mystical place where a lot of people are like him and then discovering that he's meant for much greater things. I'd honestly much rather have that than him be given the "hero's clothes" or whatever.

But, actually, the other Zelda game I voted for in the poll was Spirit Tracks. It's a bit of an unusual Zelda, which is probably what I like about it. I mean, I doubt we'll have another game where Link rides around in a train (which I think is a shame, haha, I really enjoyed driving around New Hyrule with "Full Steam Ahead" playing). Princess Zelda's role in Spirit Tracks is another thing I liked about it. It was cool to see her play a direct role in the action and adventure along with Link for once.

Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (still have to finish this thought) are really great. My favorites are always going to be Wind Waker and Four Sword Adventures. Twilight Princess was going to be one as well, but I couldn't finished it on the Gamecube. I still really wanna finish that game though, so I'm planning on getting the HD Remaster sometime later.

A Link to the Past is the first video game I ever played. It's how I fell in love with gaming. Altough I'm always srtuggling to choose between ALTTP and OOT as my absolute favorite. I feel I should mention TP as well because the aftermath of the part where you escort Telma, Illia and Ralis to Kakariko Village explains why I idolise Link so much. It shows the effect he has on the world around him

The original NES game is my fave. I've played it so many times, I've beaten it without dying three times. I've done the 2nd quest. I've drawn maps of all the dungeons to make navigating easier without it being full cheating ( I highly recommend this, it's kinda fun and really helpful, plus the manual tells you to do it too ), and I've mapped the overworld for fun. I've played it Randomized, I've beaten BS Zelda, and I've beaten Zelda Challenge: Outlands, a very well done romhack... and yes, I even enjoy the cartoon, if the avatar I drew for myself was any indication.

BOTW is my favorite 3D game, I probably enjoy it as much as TLOZ, because of how much inspiration it takes from the original game. It's just a bit of a commitment to play... that said, i've beaten it on both normal and master mode, and I'm pretty close to getting all the Korok seeds in normal mode.

My runner up picks are A Link to the Past, A Link Between Worlds, Ocarina of Time, and the Wind Waker.
