Well, mine is Morpheel, due to the theme.

Morpheel isn't exactly a villain. It's just a monster. You added: Morpheel, Stallord, Giant Deku Toad, Twilight Messenger, Wizzrobe, Blizzeta, and Stalfos to the list. None of those are villains.

A villain is someone with intentions against or in opposition to the antagonist and/or sanctity of the world. Stallord is a giant reanimated skeleton, caused by Zant, a villain. Giant Deku Toad is just a giant toad. It has no evil intentions. Maybe it wants to eat you, that's because you are food to it and it needs to eat. Twilight Messenger... just puppets of Zant. Wizzrobes are just wizard-like enemies without personalities. Blizzeta is most definitely not a villain because it was the Twilit-possessed monstrosity of Yeta, who was a very kind character. And Stalfos are just reanimated skeletons by evil magic or something. For the thread's sake, I'm going to remove these choices.

I can see how people would like Majora's Mask just for the ambiguity surrounding the... "character." But I don't see how anyone can pick Dark Link as their favorite. He's just a carbon-copy of Link dipped in black paint, somehow with LESS personality than the person he's modeled after. Yawn.


I'd have to pick Ganondorf, just because he's the freaking man. He just flat-out looks like this powerful omnipotent ****** who could destroy the world with a single move. Honorable mentions go to Byrne for having a surprising amount of development for a Lackey (as well as his Heel Face Turn), and Malladus for essentially being the "avatar of destruction" that Zelda always lacked.

I think I'll have to go with Majora, even with the very little we know about him. From a design/aesthetic perspective, I am enamored with it (the mask and his boss forms). He's much more exotic and evil to me than Gannondorf or the Oracle villains.

I guess that's true. I've always thought Phantom Ganon and Dark Link have been some of the most incredible bosses in the entire series. Since Dark Link was the final boss in AoL, though, I'd probably consider him to be a true villain. Phantom Ganon could be considered a villain to a certain extent.

That was probably a Darknut, unless you're referring to the midboss of Snowpeak Ruins, the Ball and Chain Knight (if that's what it's called).
