You guys are all wrong in my opinion . In believe Vermont and New Hampshire are the best states. It gets way too hot for my tastes in California and Hawaii and anything too far south.

Because hawaii is a cluster of small islands in the middle of the vast pacific, the water acts as a natural heatsink. The cool ocean air is always blowing over the islands, preventing the temperatures from getting too hot most of the time. Granted, there are some places in hawaii that can get pretty hot, but for the most part, the temperature is about 75 degrees. In fact, on the island that I lived, if your house was higher up on one of the mountains, you could expect temperatures as low as 45 degrees in the mornings and evenings, with highs around 65.

anywhere just to get away from michigan because it sucks i hate it sooooooo much . It's 50's in the winter, snows in april, and rains during the summer. How much worse can you get seriously, but i would have to choose Hawaii just because it has everything. It has beaches, ski resorts, golf courses, hot chicks, and everyone is casual not all dressed up. Or i would just move to austrillia even though thats not what ur asking

So smokeshot? It does that where I live too (Ontario, Canada, BTW). But, then again, I live about 6 hours away from you.

still it is so annoying because when i want to go snowboarding there is no snow and in april they just don't open the lifts. When i want to go golfing its pouring down rain or it is in the winter when the golf courses arn't open so it really sucks thats why i hate michigan and in canada it snows a lot more than it does in michigan.

I live in Bama. I have for all my life. That doesn't mean I'm not moving to a place where it actually gets cold. I want to go to a northern state. Preferably Washington. But anywhere will do. I should move to a New England State because I won't have to get to the U.S. Tennis Open. I'm fantasizing, but it's fun.

Northern New York, baby! The greatest place on earth. Plenty of clean air, space, and a constend flux of Millitary familys so there's all ways new people to meet(Fort Drum is right next door to me, the 10th mountain divion is stationed here. You may remember reading about them as the first guys into afganistan)

We've had 80 degree weather sence about 3 weeks ago. Winters maybe realy cold for about 4 months but the rest of the year stays between 60-100 degrees all year. Low Humidity too!

I guess I'm just wierd. I consider it too hot when it gets above 60. I can't stand the summers here in Connecticut, when the temperature escalates to above 90.

I love Connecticut. I love the nutmeg state. Another one of those states with no natural disasters to contend with, it also has very few dangerous animals, though mountain lions are occasionally sighted. Anyway, I live on the ocean, and although the Sound is pretty dirty, its still nice. I would love to live in Hawaii or the American Virgin Islands. Well, maybe not live in them but have a vacation house.
The Virgin Islands is awesome!

Ive lived in Florida all my life... but Id love to live in Costa Rica. I go there every summer. AHHHH the fresh air, tropic wild life, beautiful visiting places, great anime on every day :chuckle:. But since I have to live in a state I would love to live in New York. Last time I was there I saw lady liberty, ground zero, the top of the empire state(I got a little dizzy though ), china town, etc, etc, etc. I went there during the begining of winter but there was no snow:cry: Ive never seen snow since I live in FL. **** you tropic weather, you could just suck my **** and go to hell

How do people even find these old threads? I'm in college now, and the last posts before this bump were from before I was in high school. That's kind of fascinating in a strange way. It's like going to some old, abandoned building. You know that years ago, nameless people came here, but that for so long, it's gone untouched and unseen. This thread's data has probably sat undisturbed and never called on for seven years. You can see all the old ways of how posts used to work. Seeing these ancient threads every once in a while makes up for the ridiculousness that it takes to bump them.

Anyway, how about something on topic? I know that, while I may travel and live elsewhere temporarily in life, I will in all likelihood end up within 100 miles of NYC. I can't imagine not having the city around. And bash it all you want, but Jersey has been good to me these 20+ years. I like my state, flawed though it is.

Michigan.

Once the bombs start dropping, everyone will be reduced back to square one. They are surrounded by fresh water, have plenty of green undeveloped land, and a high deer/wild animal population for hunting.

Suprisingly, I do like living in Ohio.
Usually crappy weather, but its spontaneous.
And winters can be pretty awesome for snowboarding here.

I visited Colorado recently and found it to be a nice change of scenery from here in Texas.
