Favorite attack?

Yeah, the whole Poke Center is playing favorites now. It doesn't matter what you base it off of. Animation, effectiveness, cool factor. Mine is Charge Beam, because it reminds me of Metroid :D

Razor Leaf. It's cool, badass (I just slashed you open with friggin LEAVES), effective, and grass type.

Flamethrower for sure. What's more badass than a dragon spewing flames over my opponent? Plus it had one of the best animations in the 1st gen.

Samus for 5th gen!

My favorite move would probably be Solar Beam. In the first two gens it was my favorite attack because of the power and cool animations (back in first gen, that was a cool animation). More recently I realized that Solar Beam is actually a pretty bad attack unless you set up Sunny Beam and you intend to use Solar Beam at least a few times with that combo, or if your opponent sets up Sunny Day for you. When you plan to send out a Pokemon, use a move, and possibly switch when it comes to the next one, it doesn't work out because you either use Sunny Day which takes up a turn or Solar Beam which takes a turn to charge.
