Naruto too. Unlike Naruto, One Piece was actually enjoyable, albeit a loooong time ago.
Most people who say that with Naruto are generally narutards who will name all their accounts on forums after Naruto, Sasuke, Itachi etc.

@Minato
I consider Lucky Star to be the biggest Hit or Miss manga ever, I watched the first episode, SOOOOOOOOO BOOOORING.

I don't get the fanbase.

Lucky Star isn't my favorite anime. The first episode did feel boring to me as well. But there were so many references to other anime that I kept on watching it.

Did the producer of FMA said they were making a second season? Last time I heard, they said no...
And with that will come the next anime fad, I should think. (And with that, as always, comes the annoying fanbases that ruin anime.)

In another thread, I said Naruto is stereo-typical shonen in the worst possible ways. If that is true, than Yu Yu Hakusho is stereo-typical shonen in the best possible ways.

Jump and other shonen mangas have actually produced good stories and good mangas (yeah, I went there), but it's overshadowed by crap like Naruto and One Piece and all that bull. For every lame-*** pirate or ninja, Jump has given us an awesome Jojo or Kenshin.
Though I've never watched Yu Yu Hakusho, your other words are surely that of a God's.

For sure FMA2 will be the next anime fad! The crowd will follow where the most "epic" anime will be and also FMA was a good anime, so people are looking forward to seeing FMA2 and hoping it would be more "epic".

I don't get One Piece, idk why people like it really, it looks like an average anime to me really. Like Luffy wanting to be a pirate, Naruto wants to become a Hokage. Similarities much?

But really I haven't given One Piece an even shot as I did with Naruto. So my opinion is ********.

Lucky Star is randomness 0.o But Excel Saga is more random...

Except for the part where One Piece was first, and came out in 1997.:bee:

O rly?

This is what I mean when I don't give even shots to every anime I watch.
The first volume of the original One Piece manga was released in 1997. It was adapted into a full anime series in 1999.
Naruto's first original manga was released in 1997. It was adapted into a full anime series in 2002.

Despite thinking that both series are overrated, you can see that their initial releases were both first 1997.

Naruto's first REAL manga was released in 1999.

The crappy original one was also made in 1997, but I dont think he had any of that "I want to be Hokgage!" crap, and instead was a real furry that pee'd on people in ditches.

I'm pretty sure that it followed the same plot, actually.
In fact, I think the same pages were used, even.

I short parts I saw of it, there was no Sasuke, Kakashi or Sakura.

No "I wanna be Hokage" dream, and Naruto could turn into a real Fox.

Everything else was same.

Though I've never watched Yu Yu Hakusho, your other words are surely that of a God's.
'Bout **** time people realized this

The Yu Yu Hakusho anime was alright, but the manga was really cool. For the most part, I dislike anime based on mangas I've read and stick to more original projects. The Jojo OVA was alright, but I couldn't stand the fact that it started so late in the series and tried to rap as much in as possible. Some of the adaptations were better than the manga, such as removing Dio's little cowardly assistant and the way Dio treats the American politician while hunting down Jotar & co. in Cairo. The episode with D'Arby the gambler was awesome.. They totally ****ed up the "WRYYYYYYY!!!" scene, what the **** were they thinking? Overall, it was pretty good, but the manga is really epic.

I've only seen the first OVA series, not the new ones. The first OVA series doesn't start at the beginning of Arc 3, but instead when they are in the desert and meet Iggy. The second OVA series starts at the beginning of Arc 3 with Joseph meeting Jotaro and his mother, etc. I want to see the new Jojo movie "Phantom Blood" dealing with the First Jojo Story Arc with Johnathan.

I've been trying to read the JoJo manga. It's going to take me months to read all those chapters.

G Gundam was weird compared to other other Gundam series, but it's surprisingly good and underrated.

Still trying to find DVDs of Z Gundam.

Doesnt it have like 90 some volumes?
Yeah, and it's still going. The first four Story Arcs are golden. Five and Six are hit and miss plot wise, but the Stands are still really cool. I haven't been following Steel Ball Run.

Less than three-fourths of all the volumes are even translated.

Fair enough, then. That's still avoiding the fact that they probably couldn't of copied one another due to the release dates... :ohwell:
You know what, I really don't have any idea as to what I'm talking about anymore.

How special I must be.

Gantz (WHY EVERY 2 WEEKS WHY) :urg:
I've only seen the first few episodes of Gantz's anime. Is the manga still running now, then?

Jump editors are gonna be so angry. They're going to have a bunch of middle school students go to their offices submitting their manuscripts now. I feel sorry for them.

Bakuman is a fun simple manga to read though. I like it.

it kinda has

Disappearance Diary
Plot Summary: An autobiographical work in which Hideo Azuma tells the story of his inability to cope with the pressures of his job as a mangaka and of his exeriences with alcoholism. The work is split into three sections, each of which details one of Azuma's breakdowns. The first section (Walking At Night) is set in 1989 when Azuma suddenly walked out on both his job and his family and became homeless for the first time. Much of this section is given over to describing the practicalities of eating, sleeping and killing time whilst homeless. The second section (Walking Around Town) covers a similar set of events in 1992 but this time Azuma managed to find labouring work as a gas pipe layer after a period of living rough. This section also looks back over Azuma's career and describes the pressures he worked under in the 1970s and 80s. The third section (Alcoholic Ward) covers the author's descent into full-blown alcoholism and his experiences of being committed to a hospital rehab programme in 1998.

I haven't read Disappearance diary but i was hoping bakuman was more like it. really showing what mangaka have to go through and all the hardships they suffer not some fairy tale. None the less pretty entertaining.

The only anime I really watch is Naruto and I ended up really falling in love with it. I've read about people not liking it, but from the anime's I've watched before, I find Naruto much more interesting.

I can't seem to get into any animes that have a lot of episodes.
Normally, I always end up watching shows with 26 eps.

I haven't seen a whole lot of anime, but I like what I do watch.
...and I avoid anything too popular, because they always seem to suck.
(Naruto, Bleach, FMA, InuYasha, etc.)

note that I have watched those at some point >.<
except for Naruto.

What's so good about One Piece? Honestly! It's just like me and Star Fox, I don't know why people like it and I'll never get it...

The only thing I see in One Piece is that Naruto isn't as boring and long as One Piece.
