Persona? I've heard rumors that there was an anime but I was hesitant to really look into it since I unfortunately didn't get a chance to play the ones on the PS1 but I've thoroughly enjoyed 3 and started new game plus on 4.

I'm at a cross-road for some animes since I've liked the manga more since I get the impression that the artist put more spirit in character expressions, especially the WTF faces that characters will exhibit commonly.

For me Vampire Rosario and Princess Ressurection are currently my favorites as they aren't talked to death about by everyone and haven't been butchered by poor english dubbing...yet...I hope.

Well, the Persona anime takes place 10 years after PS3 and 10 years after PS4... Apparently in the anime, Persona's can be summoned without an evoker or card...I'm wondering how PS5 will be like if they ever make the game...

Lol, and Persona's can "assimilate" other persona's in the anime

Hm...well I think that Persona 4 takes places actually somewhere around two years after Persona 3's main story finished so I guess its just a spin-off attempt huh?

But Persona 5...I'll have to admit that if that came on the PS3 I'd finally cave in and buy one to play that...along with Disgaea 3 and hopefully the next installment of series that Atlus releases.

I'll look into the Persona anime but to be honest I like reading mangas more since I get the impression that jokes or references are lacking when they put it in the anime.

Lol, I mean't 10 years after PS3 and 9 years after PS4

Since PS4 is a year after PS3.

Yeah, mangas do retain humor

Might as well post here.

I don't like the anime genre, but I've seen some (pokemon and dbz when in elementary school, Elfen Lied and Death Note when I wanted to see if anything in the genre was good), and I'd say Death Note is my favorite (actually the one one I like). I wish more anime was like Death Note, not in terms of plot (though I don't like the shounen thing), but in terms of art and expression. There were no stupid faces that mimic bad acting, but the series couldn't of really been done in a different style. I found it worked best when it was it's own thing, and worst when it wasn't (like Misa). Oh well

I haven't really watched any anime in quite a few years. With that said I enjoyed both of Watanabe's series Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo. I also enjoy all of Hayao Miyazaki's films, especially Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. When I was younger Gundam Wing was my favorite show. Aside from that basically all of the old classics that everyone has seen. Akira, Trigun, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ghost in the Shell, FLCL, etc. I wouldn't say that I grew out of it but there is so much anime out there and watching every episode can be very time consuming. Not to mention that I think any series that runs beyond ~30 episodes just gets ridiculously drawn out. I feel like Naruto and Bleach are this generations Dragonball Z with just so many episodes and characters it's hard to keep track of. Sure when I was a kid I enjoyed this but today? Not so much.

I'll give you a hint, it's also a manga.
It's The Guyver, isn't it? If it's not yours then it's definitely mine at least. Death Note is very good too. I never could get into Gurann Lagann or Code Geass. Blue Gender is badass especially if you noticed what the Blues' mouthes look like. XD Then there's a few others that I like like Cowboy Bebop, NGE, Mobile Suit Gundam (I hate Seed and SD, though), Yu Yu Hakusho, and a couple of others.

Everyone loves Dragonball Z since what's where "ITS OVER 9000!" came from >.> Srsly people need to stop watching anime with 100+ episodes :3

Anyways, how is Bleach all around good? It's just people flying in the air slashing their swords at people and females having giant breast and this process keeps going on and on...

Short Anime's are soooo much better then the ones that continue on for like 13 seasons. Really just stop.

D.N.Angel is my all time fave. Deathnote is amazing too.

I also hear Fooly Cooly was amazing. But I haven't watched any episode of it... Y.Y

Edit: Forgot Full Metal Alchemist. <3

DN Angel was my first romance anime, it brings back memories, but really DN Angel kinda got boring at like 22-23 watching
Daisuke go in the winter alternate-dimension saving a women I can't remember
. But still a very good romantic anime IMO, and that's I have only wanted one romantic anime.

Yeah if you didn't understand what was going on then it could get slightly boring to watch. It took me my second time watching the anime again to understand why that part had it's relevance.

that's all I can remember that I've watched and liked. The first two I haven't watched them much, but I am working on it.

Rorouni is from way back. I grew up with that, Pokemon, and Gundam.

I couldn't grow to like One Piece. Just how it was made didn't have me interested. People keep telling me that the Japanese version is better then the English but I just didn't like the anime all together.

Digimon was amazing the first 2 seasons. Then it fell off. Data Squad was alright it gave me something to watch in the mornings before school.

Its one of the few Shonen manga with not many or no plot holes, and something that can follow its story.
unlike naruto and bleach ect. and majority of the people who don't like One Piece its because

A. They think the art is bad (which its not probably some of the best)
B. Its not serious. (another wrong statement)

Such close minded manga readers out there.:urg:

heck I don't watch animes because of the art-style (well some people I know do since they're graphic whores) and as well. One Piece isn't a serious anime? Bleach isn't that serious, it's just Strawberry-kun trying to become stronger and protect his family... Nothing that serious...

I would love to read manga, but I don't like to read it on the internet, I rather flip a page than click to see the next page, so tedious...
