I do everything to stop his chaingrab but he's still a pain in the ***, does anyone have any tips, or knowledge? I know to stop his phantasms by hold the A button...

Seeing as it's Brawl, if Snake gets out of the chaingrab, you're either trying when Snake has too much damage, or you're just slow.

Holding the A button only works about 30% of the time to stop the illusion. After the chaingrab, use C4 to blow yourself up and recover. After that, just hold ur shield up the entire match...Falco is weak as hell, and if he can only grab you, he'll have no way of killing you till at least 150.

Grab him before he grabs you, keep attack with Z or A, then F-Tilt out of it so you've got distance. Now chuck grenades like you're in World War II. Watch your mortar slides carefully, if you don't hit him, you can be punished by a chaingrab.

You can't chuck grenades Vs Falco cuz of his lasers. You can't Mortar Slide vs him because of his lasers. :( You're forced to crawl.

I heard falco's chaingrab only works till like 50ish on snake so I guess if you wanted you could C4 yourself to make yourself unchaingrabbable. I wouldn't underestimate falco's kill power though, sure his smashes aren't as strong as fox's (especially Usmash obviously) But a Dsmash will give you a low enough trajectory to set up for a spike if he wants so I wouln't cypher alot against a good falco. Oh and be sure to crawl alot obviously.

Nope, Falco's killing is horrible. Plus how is he gonna Dsmash you if you're in your shield.

Once he chain grabs you toward the edge you just have to DI as far away from the stage as you can to avoid the spike. Overall I haven't found Falco to be that hard of a matchup. If you can just avoid his spike and get grabbed as little as possible its not that hard to win.

Most Falcos I play DON'T always shoot lasers and when they do, they're short hopped. I usually manage to throw Nades against Falco players. Throwing into a mortar slide and mortar sliding as an edgeguard are nice as well.

If you DO decide to crawl and manage to get close to Falco without him using his Reflector on you, do a downtilt. If he's still at a low percent, this can lead into an Utilt and then a Nair.
