100% fake for sure. The supposed "leaker" posted the same exact reddit post last month."I will soon be here, my fellow brethren."
I also happened to come upon this today, thoughts?
Technically it is cannon to the games because it happens...in the games.I know it wouldn't be canon to the games, but what if Mewtwo's entrance is coming out of Hoopa's rings like the other non-Hoenn legendaries in ORAS?
Erm, Pocket Monster? So, a villain? Yes. A through-and-through monster? No way in Hell.
This smacks of a hoax to me. But on the off chance it isn't, someone make him a nice arsenic smoothie!http://www.bustle.com/articles/5785...o-rosalina-amiibos-purely-to-deprive-her-fans
If Nintendo releases a Mewtwo amiibo I pray that no one acts like this guy and hoards them all to keep them away from us. That was a true jerk move.
I said it wasn't canon because Mewtwo doesn't pop out of those ring portals in the games. He's just in a cave either in Kanto or Kalos.Technically it is cannon to the games because it happens...in the games.
Any ways, idk about that since Mewtwo doesn't even appear from those rings...and it would see more like a Hoopa thing to do, not Mewtwo.
Ahhhh...ok. Misunderstood you there.I said it wasn't canon because Mewtwo doesn't pop out of those ring portals in the games. He's just in a cave either in Kanto or Kalos.
That would be cool...but idk if it would happen because it's unrelated to the game series.Mewtwo's entrance should be appearing in his armor from the first movie and then breaking it off with an explosion.
Ugh... wtf.http://www.bustle.com/articles/5785...o-rosalina-amiibos-purely-to-deprive-her-fans

If anything, that news makes me actually want to buy a Rosalina amiibo, and I never really planned on buying one except maybe Mewtwo. If I did buy one, I don't know if I would go with default color or favorite alternate color...Ugh... wtf.
Honestly I'm a bit worried cause I already can't find any Lucario amiibo (unless we're talking about Japanese imports.) I hope Mewtwo will be as common as Mario because I don't care about exclusivity.. I just want the amiibos that I want.. and WTF Nintendo? They make the weirdest marketing decisions. First no Gamecube adapters, then no Mewtwo news, and now they're making certain amiibo limited.. which I guess could be fair considering the collectibles market.. but it's not fair to those who main those characters and want amiibo for them..
Mewtwo looks like its about to be mugged here. And look at how smug Fox looks I hope he gets back thrown and meteor'd!

Mewtwo Vs The World.

Murders everyone, consisting of things like magicians, royalty, other Pokemon, normal humans, creatures, gods, angels, demons, and Mii's.The result:
Mewtwo = 1The result:
Multiple incarnations of the Hero of Time, a whole family of tyrant turtles, the embodiments of creation and destruction, the pure essence of a shape-shifting God-like being, robots, bounty hunters, the same people in different suits/transformations, primates, birds, canines, dinosaurs, animal space pilots, dark angels, a 2D being, KO'able assist trophies, puffballs,...Murders everyone, consisting of things like magicians, royalty, other Pokemon, normal humans, creatures, gods, angels, demons, and Mii's.
BADASS.

power suit samus is close to mewtwo. i mean have you played the 2d metroids? she literally has nuking capabilities with the power bomb. don't even get me started on the screw attack or hyper beam.Mewtwo may just be the most powerful Smash Bros. character if we're talking canon. And yet in both SSB games with ZSS, she's insanely inferior to her. Sigh.power suit samus is close to mewtwo. i mean have you played the 2d metroids? she literally has nuking capabilities with the power bomb. don't even get me started on the screw attack or hyper beam.

I am quite sure they didn't plan those amiibos to be "limited", the demand was simply higher than expected. Besides i think that those amiibos are not used for that many games in the future. Or maby they will bring out new versions of some specific amiibos which aren't on the market by then (i think there were also 2 different mario amiibos which where shown at e3)Ugh... wtf.

speed booster and space jump beg to differ with ya snake. :3: "Without that bulky Power Suit, she's gotten a lot more agile... You know, I bet if I took off all this heavy gear, I could catch her... "
Said everyone not agile.
Can't use them without the suit though.speed booster and space jump beg to differ with ya snake. :3

The only thing which bothers me is that u don't have the option to actually play as ur amiibo so i they aren't that useful to me.. now i will have 0 instead of maby 12 or 13 i would have bought )
I should also mention that i have heared there would be a direct on January 14th (thats a rumor by now), i really hope that there will actually be one and we will get some news about
can't even really use them in smash. canonically, samus was meant to stay in her suit. smash bros wise, shes better off without. Can't use them without the suit though.
And that makes me sad. Just like Ganondorf running around like a geriatric and throwing Falcon Punches.can't even really use them in smash. canonically, samus was meant to stay in her suit. smash bros wise, shes better off without.

Palutena may be a goddess, but she isn't a very powerful one. She's the Goddess of Light and Humanity, but that's it. Viridi, Hades, Dyntos, Medusa and Thanatos could easily destroy her if they went after her directly...luckily, she has Pit.
God ain't dead.
You asked for it~Palutena may be a goddess, but she isn't a very powerful one. She's the Goddess of Light and Humanity, but that's it. Viridi, Hades, Dyntos, Medusa and Thanatos could easily destroy her if they went after her directly...luckily, she has Pit.
Mewtwo is the most powerful character in Smash. The only one I think could stand a chance against him...is probably Rosalina.
You asked for it~
I would contest the notion that she's a minor god. She's the Goddess of Light and patron deity of heroes and justice, so she's basically the superhero of the divine pantheon (figuratively speaking, as Pyrrhon is a more literal example of that). If we take into account the cosmology of Ancient Greek mythology, it looks a bit like this:
Sky
Earth
Sea
Underworld
Each domain is overseen by a different deity: Zeus rules the sky and is the king of the gods, Poseidon commands the sea, Hades lords over the underworld and the earth is the domain of no god in particular (though as the Goddess of the Harvest and the natural world, Demeter may fill that role to a degree). In this case, we can presume that the Kid Icarus universe's cosmology is similar, though the deities of each respective domain would be Palutena (sky), Viridi (earth), Poseidon (sea) and Hades (underworld). This naturally leads to the conclusion that, as the patron deity of the skies and heavens, Palutena is extremely important to the general running of the world and, indeed, is quite the integral part of the divine pantheon. Even the other gods respect her and consider her duties important to maintaining the balance in the world, e.g. Poseidon encouraging her to defeat Medusa and Viridi regarding her as a dangerous threat to her genocidal ambitions. Hades is an abnormality in that sense, as he deliberately attains power by cheating the system, so to speak. Dyntos is also an exception, as we have no idea as to the limits of his power and it's suggested that even the other gods are in awe of his almighty potential.
This doesn't necessarily relate directly to power, though, so let's examine that in a bit more detail. Palutena, as all gods are, is shown to have absolute control over her respective domain: she appears as an almighty spirit before Pit and effortlessly throws a few stray islands at him, commands an army of Centurions that she can revive if they are killed in battle, can command the element of light in various ways (e.g. Heavenly Light, Sacred Goddess Clobberlaser) and possesses remarkable, nigh-omniscient awareness of what is going on in her own domain. She can see anything from anywhere within her domain and communicates with Pit telepathically from the comfort of her own shrine. She can appear in battle at will, effortlessly teleporting between realms as she sees fit, and can even project an avatar of herself to communicate with others if she needs to. She is wise beyond measure, capable of analysing enemies' weaknesses and formulating strategies for battle near-instantaneously, and is said to possess the "All-Seeing Eye of Palutena". She pinpoints the weak spots of every single Aurum battleship instantly when Pit is fighting the extraterrestrial abominations and is even able to break through Arlon's ineffable illusory magic. The only time she isn't able to help Pit, in fact, is when Hades transports him into his belly, wherein he uses his powerful divine abilities to intercept Palutena's telepathic transmissions. Again, though, it's unfair to compare her abilities to those of Hades, whom we have already concluded is an anomaly amongst the divine pantheon.
From what we do know of Palutena, we can appreciate that she is very, very powerful. She is capable of performing the standard divine tasks of granting Pit the Power of Flight and resurrecting him when he dies, yet she is also shown to be capable of maintaining absolute control over her domain and all within it. She also doesn't seem to be a slouch in the combat department, either, as when she does have to fight, she is shown to be quite good at it: even Pit, who makes slaying evil gods something of a job, struggles to fight her, though this may equally be because of emotional restrictions with regards to hurting his beloved Goddess. Nevertheless, we can see her prowess in combat in the anime shorts as well, wherein she aids in defeating an army of rampaging vegetable monsters and turns Medusa into a grotesque creature to punish her for her evil ways. Then there's her Powers, as you say, which are seemingly infinite in stock and come in a wide variety of forms. The only real limit there is how much she can fit into the given grid and how many times she can use these Powers as a result. As with Pit, though, these seem to be used more so for padding out her arsenal than anything else: if her abilities in-game and in the anime shorts is anything to go by, she is more than capable of holding her own in battle, wielding her staff, divine light, telepathy and strategic wits to great effect to seize the day no matter whom she is facing.
Love it

So basically this thread is turning into this one?And yet, with all that, she still needed Pit to save her from her possession and later imminent death by soul consumption and she was effortlessly put asleep by Dyntos.
Maybe if Uprising didn't hand her the iron ball of distress so much it'd be better
And Mewtwo can effortlessly kill gods, too; if Psystrike doesn't cut it, it's massive effing move pool should do the trick.

Except you're deliberately disregarding the fact that the Chaos Kin is a god-slaying eldritch abomination that even the other gods are terrified of. And that Dyntos is, as expressly stated, a deity far beyond the power of any other known deity.
It doesn't really matter if you're Cthulhu when Azathoth comes a-knockin'. Or, in this case, even Athena has to take a pause for the cause and show some honest respect to Daddy Zeus.
I was being a facetious jerk when I brought up Palutena, I honestly could care less who's da bess in Smash, but deliberately disregarding facts to promote your own argument is in poor taste in any good debate.

I'm sorry.
Me and my big mouth...
I forgot it's futile to argue with your great walls of text anyway.is kk i still wuv yew
But just bear in mind proper oratory etiquette in future, yeah? Even if it's a silly dumb debate for silly dumbs, it's still nice to be polite and structure your argument accordingly.
It's been a year since I saw the Pokemon X story, but I believe it is Xerneas who makes the Mega Stones. Some of them were made long ago (Rayquaza), while others seem like recent creations (Mewtwo).Out of curiosity, has anyone else wondered why Mewtwo can Mega Evolve? Mega Stones according to the games have existed for countless years, and yet a man-made Pokemon not found in nature has two Mega Stones?
