*chews on blue orb* :3Mew for primal reversion confirmed
Honestly though that would make so much sense
It should also have the ability Protean because...well, it is the ancestor to all Pokemon and, as such, has the genes for every type.Plot twist: Mega Mew or Primal Mew will be the 'good Mewtwo'. Looking exactly like Mewtwo, but pink, and far more friendly looking. A bit of a mix between Mega Mewtwo Y, Mewtwo and Mew. Main stat boosts would be in Special Attack, HP and Special Defence. Also receiving Fairy as second typing cause why the hell not.
Also, Mega Mew / Primal Mew would be the Jesus Christ of the Pokémon universe, cause having Arceus as God alone is too much ego tripping.
No, dear speedy Speed, it should have Multitype under this logic. It should also have the ability Protean because...well, it is the ancestor to all Pokemon and, as such, has the genes for every type.
DAT SHOCKWAVE THO.No, dear speedy Speed, it should have Multitype under this logic.
Guaranteed to pop up whenever logic is brought up.DAT SHOCKWAVE THO.

If Nintendo releases a Mewtwo amiibo I pray that no one acts like this guy and hoards them all to keep them away from us. That was a true jerk move.
I'm immune because Mexico~http://www.bustle.com/articles/5785...o-rosalina-amiibos-purely-to-deprive-her-fans

i just saw that..... really of all the stupid things one can do...I'm immune because Mexico~
And the local game store employees know me enough to reserve my amiibo once I order it~
I think he's technically counted as a villain in Melee, yeah. Event 51: The Showdown, lumps him in with Bowser and Ganondorf, two villainous characters. The classic mode trophy says, "A genetically created Pokémon, Mewtwo is the result of many long years of research by a solitary scientist. Although Mewtwo was cloned from the genes of the legendary Pokémon Mew, its size and character are far different than its ancestor. Its battle abilities have been radically heightened, making it ruthless." Note, at the end, it mentions his ruthlessness which is defined as being devoid of compassion in behavior. Because of this, I assume Sakurai had intended to make him out to be a villainous Pokemon character. Does that align with how he really is in the respective Pokemon universe? Well, I don't think so but Smash characterization isn't always accurate when compared to the original universe. For example, Wario is depicted as a disgusting toilet humor character in Smash (his alias in the boxing ring even being "Scoundrel with a fart of gold") but in Wario Land, he's really not that bad. The Smash characterization of characters is a more linear interpretation seeing as how the primary focus of the game is the fighting aspect rather than character development.Does Mewtwo count as a villain character in Smash?
He's a sympathetic antagonist at most, but if we're really and truly looking for more bad guys in Smash, would he technically count?
Way more in-depth and impressive answer than I was expecting, but thanks! I appreciate the insights and theories there, my good man~I think he's technically counted as a villain in Melee, yeah. I don't know. Really depends on what you classify as a villain. He was obviously an antagonist, no doubt there, but was he really a villain? I mean, think about it. He lost his best friend, Ambertwo, when he was a child, and them had every memory of her erased. Think about that. You lost your best friend, and then immediately afterward, while you were still crying, every memory of her is erased, and you're left with only what she made you feel. It must have been awful. Of course, that doesn't necessarily justify Mewtwo murdering dozens of people and his subsequent antagonistic role, but one must wonder. Mewtwo did once say,Does Mewtwo count as a villain character in Smash?

He's not as evil as Ganondorf, the Demon king himself.I don't know. Really depends on what you classify as a villain. He was obviously an antagonist, no doubt there, but was he really a villain? "The world pushes us without mercy, and when some push back, the world points and cries... 'EVIL!'"
I personally would classify him as a tragic villain. Someone who snapped because of some terrible event as a child, and then never trusted anyone ever again.
So, a villain? Yes. A through-and-through monster? No way in Hell.
Man, I remember everyone during the April Direct, begging for Mewtwo to not come out of a Master Ball.So... Who wants to discuss Mewtwo's possible taunts and stage entrance? Will he immerge from a Master Ball or break from his tube? Maybe he'll teleport onto stage like in Project M.
I know, Mewtwo is so powerful that I don't want him to be owned by anybody. The only trainer I can imagine being BOSS enough to catch him is Red, but other than that I'd like to pretend that no one is strong enough to tame that almighty beast.Man, I remember everyone during the April Direct, begging for Mewtwo to not come out of a Master Ball.
If love for him to teleport in.
Gah, don't remind me of that. I hate how Wario's entire character in Smash Bros. is 'the fat guy who farts'.For example, Wario is depicted as a disgusting toilet humor character in Smash (his alias in the boxing ring even being "Scoundrel with a fart of gold") but in Wario Land, he's really not that bad.
I think he was referring to Mewtwo being a summoned Pokemon from an item.I know, Mewtwo is so powerful that I don't want him to be owned by anybody. Yes, I was referring to that, back when Mewtwo's status was ambiguous.I think he was referring to Mewtwo being a summoned Pokemon from an item.
I wouldn't call Red that great, the guy brings a Pikachu to the Champions League in the PWT.
At the time, I was still confident that Mewtwo would be in. Then Greninja showed up, and I was shaken by doubt.Yes, I was referring to that, back when Mewtwo's status was ambiguous.
...you can't hold any plates though, cause- ya'know, you have to hold a Mega Stone to Mega Evolve...No, dear speedy Speed, it should have Multitype under this logic.
Here are your options:...you can't hold any plates though, cause- ya'know, you have to hold a Mega Stone to Mega Evolve...
...Here are your options:
1. Screw this because you smoke speed constantly.
2. See #1.
Or, Mew could be Mega Rayquaza levels of broken and not need a stone to MeVo. THEN it would get Multitype, and it could hold a plate.
But we always have nice things
I meant "I"...but I couldn't find a good one with "I" instead of "we" ...*sigh* I really CAN'T have nice things. lolBut we always have nice things
I just pun the hell out of your name, that's all.
I honestly think Mewtwo should come out of a Master Ball. He does represent the legendary Pokemon in Smash- and the Master Ball is what you would use...or at least, on normal terms, to catch one.So... Who wants to discuss Mewtwo's possible taunts and stage entrance? Will he immerge from a Master Ball or break from his tube? Maybe he'll teleport onto stage like in Project M.
I think in Smash, he would be considered as a villainous character. If you count up the factors, like his sinister laughs and the fact he was in that final showdown event it's hard not to see him as a bad guy. But, in actuality he's not bad at all, just represented as evil. I've seen more than enough people around the internet judge him only as a monster and as evil just from the First Movie solely from the English dub. He's nothing like that in the Japanese dub, more so constantly questioning why he was created instead of just wanting to rampage.Does Mewtwo count as a villain character in Smash?

Thank you!Well, whaddaya know! Small world! I really like your artwork. You're very talented, and I think my favorites are your Invader Zim pieces and, of course, your Mewtwo pieces. The one I'm using is my personal favorite because of the "sketchiness" of it. It adds a sense of action to it. Not to mention the fact that Mewtwo looks like one cool GuardianDemonAngel in your picture. Love his outfit, too.
Of course, if you object in any way to me using your art, I'll gladly change it as fast as possible.
And, no, I don't think we've seen the Etika pictures. It sounds very interesting, though.
I don't really think he should come out of a Master Ball. I personally don't like the idea of Mewtwo being caught by anyone, period. I guess I just feel like he's too powerful. As for Teleporting onto stage, I'd have no problem with that, even if it does seem slightly redundant considering enemies in Classic, Multi-Man Smash and All-Star mode already join a battle in progress like that.So... Who wants to discuss Mewtwo's possible taunts and stage entrance? Will he immerge from a Master Ball or break from his tube? Maybe he'll teleport onto stage like in Project M.
Well...it is the Master Ball...there's no shame in being caught with that when it's impossible...for anything to escape it.I don't really think he should come out of a Master Ball. I'd personally like to see him float in from the upper blast line laughing, and then land on the battlefield.
Mewtwo is just letting you catch him. He could break free of such petty mortal bonds anytime, he merely finds it an amusing aside to surveying all of creation, that's all.I don't really think he should come out of a Master Ball. i was one of the few who til the bitter end said "we won't know til launch day!" and, though i felt defeated, i still loved the game.At the time, I was still confident that Mewtwo would be in. Then Greninja showed up, and I was shaken by doubt.
Mewtwo and Little Mac were the only characters I was 100% sure about. Guess I turned out to be 75% right?
What if a pixel cut-out of the Cerulean cave entrance appears in the background and Mewtwo floats out of it into the foreground with either his classic cry or his maniacal laugh as FX? Then the cave quickly dissapears with a puff/small blast of psychic energy.I don't really think he should come out of a Master Ball. Then again, I caught Giratina with a Quick Ball on my first try, so who knows, maybe that's more shameful.
I happened to have this open, and it serves as a pretty accurate summation of Arceus, methinks:Explainraging nerd voice that emulates Albert Wesker personality wiseArceus then.
