1 game. We got ONE game earlier, and the whole world suddenly falls apart for America, it seems. We get almost EVERY game later, many times MUCH later than you do.

say what? for me it'd be perfectly alright if we could get the game in english only. the german translation is poor anyway.

and that's the most annoying thing of all that: the first thing i'm gonna do when i get brawl is switching the language to english. so why should i have to wait for those lame, uncreative german translators?

Wht should I pay for the American Wii in your opinion?

About the same price as for an European one, if you don't count shipping. About 30€ more is still reasonable, but higher than that and you'd be stepping into rip-off territory (keep in mind that you'll probably need a converter if you don't want to fry your Wii). I got mine by the end of 2006 for the same price as a Euro Wii, and that was including shipping.

I'm the kind of person who is offended if, say, water is represented as weaker than fire in a game with elemental powers. Or other unimportant imbalances. Or important imbalances.

That guy is an idiot. Q2 means quarter 2. A quarter is 1 fourth if you divide the months into quarters you'd have 1 quarter equating to 3 months therefore Q2 08 is any time after march and before july. Thats just a month to 3 month delay which isn't as bad as that tard made it seem. Also if you're going by the fiscal calendar then Q2 is actually January to March in which case its the same as the North American release dates. No body has anything to worry about.

I've calmed down a bit. No way I'm gonna get a US Wii, I'm not desperate enough to spend over £100 again to play one game half a year early. I could get my Wii chipped, but then Nintendo's firmware updates will just foil me.

Basically us Europeans are royally ****ed. Of course there is a way; if the Australian version comes out around the same time as the US one, we could all import that, it's PAL afterall.

The thing is, WHY was Brawl delayed in EU? It doesn't take half a year to translate a finished game. What's the deal? To me it sounds like NoE are simply being lazy. Is anyone going to join me in sending emails?

I don't understand why people think this isn't real? I'm not getting my hopes up... hell, if we get a pre Q3 release date it'll be excellent, but no way am I gonna "hope" it happens, I'll just end up disappointed, as I think you will be.
