Elite ten ny/nj

I came up with this for many reasons. There is suppose to be a crew battle between ny/nj vs md/va within two weeks. We need to decide if this was to happen, who will be in it and state your reason of why you should or shouldn't. Be civilized and lets talk like humans who don't go based on being part of a fan club or the meatriders guild for the weak or i hate his personality and although he's mad good.... he shouldn't be in cause i just don't like him.

i'll address some problems right now. I'll go to v.a or whatever this is at only if we can establish this in time and i actually have a place to stay... i would stay at my mom's future house, but i don't know how far it is from the tourney place. Also i hear people don't want dire in the crew battle....... i really would like to hear on why not? he basically without a doubt is on top of the list in nyc. his skills is top notch and tournament experience is very good considering he's been doing this for years. I won't have this thread up for long and we need to be quick on decisions.

I also need a ride and most importantly, i haven't been training so anyone from the list in the crew battle wants to train or just anyone period contact me on oni163 so we can set up a schedule for us to train.

yeah dires good, he placed first at game table yesterday, then again i haven't attened a weekly so i wouldn't know how he fares against other people but at the very least he seems solid. the character he plays doesn't hurt your chances either.

nl is top of the line and he beat nl twice there yesterday. the top four is me, dire, d1 and nl. yea game and watch is high tier, but regardless it's the person behind the controller who makes the character either better or worse.

M2K - obvious
Bum - also obvious
Atomsk - Proven himself to be second best in NJ officially (although spam has been absent...)
Ninja Link - One of the rare people to capture a mewtwo in tournament
Snakeee - does consistently well and adds variety to the group
Inui - Grr.... also does consistently well always.. except lol esticle
StarzOnEdge - His olimar is devastating and devastates...
teh spammer - His play style is .. unique.. and quite effective.
Jman - very solid player.. generic and campy but smart and solid. gets the job done =)

If the crew battle is taking place at Critical Hit 4, don't count me. I've been sick for most of August and haven't been able to go to tournaments, which kept me from getting the money I would need to go.

The only reason I put it in this order is becuz....lets be serious...BUM hasnt really lost to ne1 at the weeklies unless he wuz feeling generous. He's on top of nyc FOR RIGHT NOW. But he wont be up there for long if he continues to slack off. I keep telling you to come over to train.

Dire has NEVER (to my knowledge) lost to Ninja Link in tournament (sets) and D1 has only beaten dire like once. and the only reason I put Ninja Link ahead of D1 is becuz while Ninja Link seems more focused on the game, getting better everytime and he beat M2K in the last major tournament, D1 seems like he's too hooked to SC4 right now. That's all he talks about on the boards (even though these forums target this game in particular). I think D1 might be out of practice but even then still 4th best in NY.

so if you use these 4 and the top 2 in jersey, cuz apparently they claim to have $H1T PLAYERS except for those 2 then all you need is 4 more ppl to fill in the spots and your good.

Bum has lost against D1 twice in tourney while bum wasnt generous. Nothing against Dire but he hasnt always made top 5 at weeklies. He has lost to starz a couple times and a couple other ppl. Not sayin he shouldnt be in, just gotta consider everything. Myself in july split 1st 3 times and got 4th that last week and split first again at the last weekly. The only ppl to consistently beat me is bum and dire. I lost to others before but recently i havent.

As for the lineup, I thought shadow wasnt goin because of school. Leo cant make it i dont think either.

Oh I just remembered if philly is in this, you might want to include velocity somewhere.

If we're playing by who's beaten who: Dire, I only played once in a crew battle and I won, but he consistently places high in NY. He's not playing only people "in the sticks". However, I don't think he's in the top 4.

But I DON'T like just going by who's beaten who. Pride why are you starting to go by Inui logic now? My brother lost to Inui once, big deal. If you saw the match, Inui got very lucky. And, I'll admit that Atomsk is probably a little better than me now...but I'm going to bridge that gap

No I am not going by just that one win over Shadow. Inui has done well in almost every tourn he goes to instate and out of state. He is good under pressure. Ignoring his skill just cause he is a ignorant pompous ******* is stupid. Or maybe it isn't... *Shrug* We are going by skill I believe not who is more friendly.

honestly i only lost to d1 one time and that was long ago. the other two times i wasn't playin seriously in the tournament cause people was complainin about me makin money hosting n winnin. thatz when i ask if ya was ok wit it and then 15 weeks in a row i was number one. thatz not the point though

for the person that don't think i'm set to go, get me a ride and a place to stay... i will assure you i will go. i'm tired of partyin on weekends anyway and i even told pride that. i don't care if i don't do good or i mess up, to me it's about seein other styles and competition. we shouldn't be arguing about who better than who. we really need to figure out who really deserves to be in the crew battle. this is very important and decide how much we playing for.

i'm also gonna make a new thread about the bx venue..... one of the best venues/area i seen. it's not even ghetto like lol which i was shocked. i will throw smash games only if people truly is set on going. that thread will be up soon. i need sumone to train wit me hardbody cause i been busy searchin for venues and other things.

My brother lost to Inui once, big deal. If you saw the match, Inui got very lucky.

He made dumb mistakes and I called them. He shouldn't have attacked me way up on that platform. He also got crushed on Halberd.

Your list is pretty biased towards NY. I've beaten you in a MM and generally outplace you. I also beat your brother and outplaced him a few times. I'd like to actually play Jman and Starz.

omg Velocity isn't special anymore

- I outplaced/tied him at every event since CoT3.
- I beat him last time we played.
- I beat the people that beat him, such as Shadow and Yes! from recent events.
- My strategy with Atomsk in teams was "spank Velocity" and it worked out really well and we would have won the set without that lucky 9. He wasn't hard to handle in the finals. It was all M2K.
