I have a dilemma.
I'm currently in a group project here at the college for the Support the Troops, which is fine, I'm putting it up for the entire event.
However, one of the group members is advertising it to the entire college. If a lot of people show up, I won't be able to run a huge RR tournament in 1 day, even on single elim. It's just unrealistic.
If the RR tournament has more than 30 entries, I'm going to have to change it to a standard bracket. I already expect more than that, so this means that singles will probably not be straight Round Robin.
I think it would be best to have seeded pools and continue a standard bracket from the top 16 placers in points, to to simply have a single elim bracket up until I have either 32 or 16 players left. I'm leaning toward single elim until 32. Any imput anyone?

My suggestion is to have someone with a handy laptop with Tournament Maker on it. W/ 13 setups (hopefully) and a bit of organizing I'm sure it can get finished fairly quickly.
