so he had a typhoshions and arcanines on his bench while i was still faffing around with my shinxs and electrikes ... ><

Also random question, you know the legal cards I have the list...

If a card has been reprinted, say an energy for example, can you use the old version of it instead of a energy from the new sets?

Umm there's a full list of legal reprints somewhere, i'll find, but any basic energy is legal regardless how old

The list of legal sets you can use is on the official website, if you look at any of the tourneys on there they have a list.

Basically right now its any of the Diamand and Pearl lot onwards.

It gets refreshed very 2 years on august, like on the 17th or something
