From Mario to DK, those are all Miyamoto series. Wouldn't it make more sense to put Olimar there?

Everywhere but here people seem to hate on the leak. Are we the only ones who have gathered enough evidence to support that this is more real than fake? I'm not saying I'm putting all my money on it being real. I just feel like there's more evidence to suggest it is than isn't now that pictures are being removed.

Looking at the pictures again, I believe that the bottom right corner may indeed be the Random Slot for two reasons:
a) If you compare the color of the background of this box to that of the other characters on-screen, you will notice that this box has a Red-Pink tinge to it while all the other character slots have a gray background. If this was another character, would this box not have the same background color?
b) In one of the pictures posted that shows a closer shot of the bottom right corner (with Sonic, Mega Man, and Little Mac) you can see what looks to be like a capital R (signifying Random) for this different-colored box.

The bottom rightmost box being Random would make sense as the character select screen was formatted the same way in Brawl (Random box being the farthest to the right on the bottom) so it is plausible they chose to make it the same way for Smash 4. This would still keep the Unknown count at 5. I still believe this supports the RosalinaX leak with 48 characters (for even box shape) and 4 cuts. (R.O.B, Snake, G&W, and Ice Climbers. OR if we are counting Pokemon Trainer as one of the cuts, it could be R.O.B, Snake, and Pokemon Trainer as the three cuts in addition to G&W or Ice Climbers being cut).

The fact remains that it is a bit to coincidental for him to miss Ridley, especially when that would prove that he is true. Seems fishy to me, but we are at an impass so it doesn't matter anyway.

Well, I wouldn't know because I'm really only connected with smashboards, but I'd imagine it's mostly because of the colors thing in the top right and the fact that Marth is transparent even though he appears to be selected. But what are you gonna do?
I think I'm gonna call it a day for me here at smashboards. I'll be sure to check back tomorrow for updates though.

It's not a small thing that doesn't matter. It is the only thing that makes or break this leak and he is withholding it from us, and it seems a bit coincidental. Just because there is an unlikely explanation doesn't mean that this leak is true. Until something else happens, I'm done for tonight.

Although I'm highly skeptical of this, I can understand the reasoning behind Ridley. Ridley being unveiled would be a HUGE deal, and would probably generate more hype than even the tournament itself. I assume that if Nintendo knew someone had leaked it, hell would come to Earth.

Mods, a question. A lot has transpired since I first posted the first images earlier today. Given how huge this leak is (not a Ridley joke) and the fact that no other leak will likely see discussion pertaining to E3 while this is alive, perhaps a seperate thread specifically for it should be made? Like how Sal's leak has a thread. Include everything in the OP so everyone is up to speed, and keep the discussion in one place specific for it. I'm not volunteering to make it or anything, but it's just an idea. At the very least, this OP should be fully updated to cover everything (if it has not been already, I haven't checked). I know multiple times today people have come in without all the facts presented so it might not be the worst idea at any rate.

EDIT: The Pac Man was a clear fake. As for the 4th, it was earlier but not posted until after as he didn't think it was substantial. Not to say we won't get more, but I doubt it'll be today.

I am reading that some of you are noticing the blue coloration of the rumored Ridley Box, if you notice in that picture the Player 2 slot is illuminated meaning a character has been selected and if you go back to look at the picture with Marth, you will notice the player selection button on him is slightly transparent, which would explain why there is blue coloration in the Ridley Box while the contents can still be slightly seen (notice the very bottom right corner of the Ridley box is not this distinctive blue color). Another notable thing is that there is a Metroid icon in the Player 2 box but we know this is not Samus and likely isn't ZSS as she is logically adjacent to Samus's box. In addition, the Y being present is another thing that supports that this box could contain Ridley.

This prove that this COULD be real but why not showing the artwork itself? It's obvious that there's something here but this something is unknown if it's ridley or not.

Pic 3 showed Megaman and Little Mac. "Tournament Versions"

Pic 4 showed a close up of Mega Man, Little Mac. You could make out a P or an R on the right hand side with a bit of red. People are saying this is either Pac-Man or the Random button.

Pic 5 was a fake of Pic 4 that clearly showed Pac-Man, but moved Ridley way to close. This proved that this was a copy-cat.

Pic 6 was the latest one with Mario, Link, and Pikachu clearly shown. This is likely shown by the original guy.

The creator of this "leak" is once again forgetting that a 3DS version of the game exists and therefore the roster must fit on the top screen of it. There is no way as depicted that it could.
