DTP's Dual Tournament
Update 1/23: Considering the amount of teams that have Banned Rainbow Cruise already, I've decided to take it off the list completely, ONLY FOR DOUBLES. I realized that if there is a ton of lag on that stage then it wouldn't be very fun at all. So if you happened to choose Rainbow Cruise as your teams CP then I will need you to pick a new one =D

Update 1/22: Well since 8 Teams signed up in less than a day, which kinda surprised me, I've decided to make the doubles tourney a 16 Team tournament. It will still be Double Elimination =D

Here I am, yet again, hosting another tournament in OTL. This will be my 3rd tourney that I've hosted so far. But I've decided to do something different this time, so I added a separate Doubles tournament for everyone to participate in =D
Both tournaments are open to anyone willing to join ^_^
I'm hoping for this to be my biggest and most successful tournament, so we'll see how that goes xD
My last two tournaments were successful so I can only assume this one will be too =D
Singles
Basic Rules
I am making this standard tournament for the 3rd time in a row. I feel it's the best way to go
- Best 2/3
- Grand Finals best 3/5
- 3 Stock
- Double Elimination
- No items (of course)
- All characters are allowed
- I will also allow 1 Banned stage Pick. You will only have one thoughout the entire tournament, so choose wisely
- MK's Infinite Dimensional Cape Glitch is BANNED
- If a game ends with Bowser doing his suicide klaw and it ends in sudden death, the sudden death will be ignored and that game will count as a win for Bowser. The same applies for Ganon's Side b as well
MY OWN RULES
- If you do not get the Counter pick you requested, then immediately quit the match and let your opponent know which stage they were supposed to pick
- If a player continues to play on the stage that isn't their counter pick, then that match will count.
- If you are going out somewhere before you finish your match then please tell me. As long as you aren't gone for too long I will most likely give you an extension on your match
NEW RULE: If you choose to ban a Neutral Stage then it will only apply if your opponent wants to choose it as a Counter Pick. Your opponent may still choose it as a starter stage. To avoid this, try to agree on a different stater stage with your opponent

Doubles
Now this is the first Doubles tournament that I've hosted, so I hope it goes over well. I know doubles matches can be hard to set up, since there are 4 different people with 4 different schedules trying to play. So I'll need to try and figure out a reasonable schedule so as to allow this to run smoothly, to ensure that this doesn't drag out forever, and to limit the amount of DQ's
Key word is Try, I'll need you guys to do your part and set up a time to do your match.

- Lag will often be an issue in an Online Doubles tournament, but just try and play though it. If the lag is absolutely unbearable and on the verge of disconnecting then come and talk to me.
