Except it isn't true, because it's not MK that people lose to with ****ty characters. Hylian doesn't use MK against FAE, he uses ICs because ICs **** Lucas. I use Olimar because Olimar ***** Lucas. Anyone here that loses to ****ty characters isn't going to suddenly win because they switched to MK, unless they're somehow better with MK than they are with their main.

I still maintain that, outside of dumb infinite grab bull**** matchups, Lucas is NOT a ****ty character.
I think Bo3 with more time for fun events is best, overall.
Plus I hated Bo7 Wfs, Lfs, and Gfs.
Last time we did it, Wfs and Gfs went to game 7 EVERY set...
...meaning we played 21 games against the same team in doubles. It was so draining.

thats why I changed it. you would only have to do 1 Bo7. I guess I could just make everything Bo5.I think Bo3 with more time for fun events is best, overall.

If everything is Bo5 at least make finals also bo5. I don't really care either way though, I guess I lean slightly towards Bo5 unless we can do a random tournament in which case I would want Bo3.

I won't be able to ask off of work if it's the 18th, too short of notice. If you make it the 25th I can guarantee being there but if it's the 18th it's 50/50 that I will make it, or I will be super late lol.

I'm thinking of changing rules to let me know what ya think:
DOUBLES SPECIFIC:
-If there are less than 6 entries Doubles will be done in round robin format. The top two teams will play an additional Grand Finals set. Ties will be determined by one additional game per set.
Payout:
1st: 70%
2nd: 30%
