Jim Siedow used to lived behind us. He's known for playing the "Old Man" in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Nice guy, but he died back in 2000. For the record, the neighbors we've had since then in that house have all sucked. I remember the millions of times toys, balls, or what have you would go over the fence. I was given infinite permission to run around the corner and go get them, although I was always a bit afraid of him. Nevertheless, he was a really nice guy.

I could list a million other connections to famous people, but through longer routes.
For instance, not only have I met Les Claypool, but through my dad, I'm connected to him through several sources. A friend of his in California dated Claypool's wife for a long time years and years ago. Also, he has a friend who knows Claypool fairly well.
My dad also interchanged some business with the tour manager of Ween last year, so I have that ever-so-slight connection to the guys.
An ex of mine is good friends with James Garfunkel, the son of Art Garfunkel.
The cousin of a friend of a friend is Parker Posey.
And I'd rather not go on. The end.
