Do you or any of your relatives/friends know any celebrities? (doesn't have to be super well-known) By that, I don't mean you saw them on the street, I mean you went to the same school as them, talk on AIM with, dad is good friends with, or even best friends, etc.

As for me, I don't know anyone famous, but my friend's dad went to the same martial arts school as Jackie Chan.

Dark Hart is related to Mitchell Zeidwig. Look him up if you don't know of him.

♥ My post count is my age. Deal with it.
There is this guy I know who has a grandfather that was a movie star.
That is about it.

Although my math teacher went to the same ski class with Arnold ... governor of CA... and has his signature on a workout belt

And my music teacher has the exact house where the Back Street Boys practiced before they were famous.

One guy that graduated a long time ago happens to have a dad that is a very well known singer that met Oprah and President Clinton in person.

That is how close I will ever get...

My friend's grandpa is Spiderman's butler in the Spiderman movies. I worked with an American Idol top 24 last year, and this year I work with a So You Think You Can Dance finalist.

I also worked with a guy who was in Revolutionary Road, but his scenes were cut out of the final version. Hahaha. He was the biggest jerk ever, so I was happy to hear his big opportunity got cut.

I'm related to Charlemange. Not sure if 8th century kings count as famous, but it's something.

Skyler, that's awesome. He's actually significant historically, though he's not exactly a celebrity.

As for me, my grandma went to school with the woman who played the grandma on Everybody Loves Raymond, I think. I've spoken briefly once to one of the Johns of TMBG. That's about it though.

I'm pretty sure Spiderman didn't have a butler, do you mean Harry's butler?

Whatever. Somebody's butler in the Spiderman movies.

OH YEAH, I can't believe I forgot to mention that the same friend's uncle is Bill Paxton-- the guy from Twister, and Weird Science. That's how his grandpa even got the job.

I'm related to King Edward III of England. His grandpa is the king in Braveheart. The family line going something like this:

Edward III King Of ENGLAND
Edmund "of Langley" Prince Of ENGLAND
Constance Princess Of ENGLAND
Eleanor De HOLAND
Constance TOUCHET
James WHITNEY
Robert WHITNEY
Robert WHITNEY
Robert WHITNEY
Thomas WHITNEY
John WHITNEY
John WHITNEY
Nathaniel WHITNEY
Nathaniel WHITNEY
Nathaniel WHITNEY
Anna WHITNEY
David FORBUSH
Rufus (Richard) FORBUSH
Rufus FORBUSH
Louisa Marie FORBUSH
Hyrum Henry GRAHAM
Clifford Leroy GRAHAM
Robert GRAHAM <- My Grandpa
Christine GRAHAM <- My Mom
Xsyven <- Me

So I guess that means he's my great x21 grandpa, or something.

Visiting from above.
My best friend's aunt went to elementary school with Salma Hayek at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Couteau, LA (I know, I was surprised too). She signed one of her yearbooks and everything.

I'm somehow related to the guy who invented Woody Woodpecker. And I regularly see Ellen Page at the cafe where my boyfriend works.

I apparently have a great-great-uncle who was a small name actor or something relating to showbiz. But considering I don't even know his name, I doubt it.

My ex-stepdad is a good friend of Rafael van de Vaart, now playing for Real Madrid.

He once gave me football shoes with his signature on it. Those things were like 180 euros in stores at the time(they were Nike Total 90).

One of my sister's friends knows the Sprouse twins from Disney. They go over to her house and stuff. Their parents had them play together as babies.

One of my moms, best friends brother is Ray Romano. When she still lived in Connecticut they would hang all the time. She says he was a great drummer apparently.

Went to school with Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), and Skandar Keynes (Edmund from Narnia films.).
Also, Sadie Frost and Gary Kemp's son was in my year group.
Oh, and Fred Les went to school with me too.

Jim Siedow used to lived behind us. He's known for playing the "Old Man" in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Nice guy, but he died back in 2000. For the record, the neighbors we've had since then in that house have all sucked. I remember the millions of times toys, balls, or what have you would go over the fence. I was given infinite permission to run around the corner and go get them, although I was always a bit afraid of him. Nevertheless, he was a really nice guy.

I could list a million other connections to famous people, but through longer routes.

For instance, not only have I met Les Claypool, but through my dad, I'm connected to him through several sources. A friend of his in California dated Claypool's wife for a long time years and years ago. Also, he has a friend who knows Claypool fairly well.

My dad also interchanged some business with the tour manager of Ween last year, so I have that ever-so-slight connection to the guys.

An ex of mine is good friends with James Garfunkel, the son of Art Garfunkel.

The cousin of a friend of a friend is Parker Posey.

And I'd rather not go on. The end.

A distant relative of mine was in Dances With Wolves. Other than that, I've got nothing.

My parents went to the same high school as Dan Castellaneta, the voice of Homer Simpson.

My dad also met Jim Thome from the White Sox at a hotel after he joined the 500 club.

My wife's mother is a friend of Derek Drymon, the creative director for Spongebob. I talked to him for 2+ hours because I'm the biggest Spongebob nerd ever.
