Do you get nervous or stressed with Mafia at times?

Sometimes I get nervous, I don't know why. Most likely with mafia here and on Mafiascum.

It's not so much here, because I'm scummy to everyone anyways haha.

But when it comes to a site that I'm new in, they find it weird I scumhunt pretty fast. ;-;

Even though I get a little nervous, I make sure to put on the pressure.

How about you guys?

Nervousness does play an extremely key factor in mafia imo.

Yes everyone most of the time does get nervous/stressed. When as scum you have to put on a mask though when under heat that you aren't because once you start showing you are nervous about the pressure you start to scum-slip big time.

Town really shouldn't get nervous/stressed about being under pressure but at the same time town has to make nerve-racking decisions to finding out who is scum or who is town. A good situation that you should know personally is Swords in MYLO during Inception where he had a little nervousness that I used to my advantage to get Rockin lynched.

Stress from Mafia was the reason I stopped playing after Castlevania. Too much to handle between that and RL. Especially once it was LYLO and I got into walloftext fights with Zen. That was fun, but way too stressful. Like being in Grand Finals against M2K, I guess.

Well I usually am nervous when town. It's been a while since I had a scum role. (Since my newbie)

It's just that I fear that'd I'd mess up and get lynched by somehow appearing scummy. Does my nervousness show? :3

I imagine being scum and being called out would be nerve wracking. I've only been scum once though, and it was my first game so I didn't really know what I was doing and trolled the hell out of everyone to victory! No nervousness there.

Also having to choose the winning lynch would be stressful.

But I'd be lyin' my *** off if I said it doesn't get my heart pumpin' as I refresh a thread in anticipation of flips.

I try to realize when I am, and then set the stress aside if I am stressed. I communicate better and people like me more when I have a clear head.

There are two reasons I get stressed in mafia.

1) Pre-flip, when we're about to see when the day's lynch (or occasionally night's vigging) is mafia or town I'm a bit nervous. Same thing when it's a high pressure situation, like when choosing between town and scum in LYLO.

2) I tend to get a bit... excited when I'm being pressured, particularly when I think the reasons for the pressure are idiotic. Fire Emblem mafia was a perfect example of this, I was totally furious for a while at being the lynch target.

I get nervous:

1. As scum, always. Even if I'm not under pressure I still get nervous with every move I make. Being under pressure makes me all the more nervous.

2. Pre-flip, especially if I really think that person is scum.

3. In MYLO/LYLO situations no matter what alignment (obviously).

If you don't get nervous, stressed, or annoyed, you aren't doing it right.
Town or scum, you should always be alert and a general sense of "urgency" allows you to slam your fist down on suspicious behavior. A passion (in the form of annoyance, nervousness, or urgency) allows you to harp on mistakes or slips and present as noteworthy so that other players take you seriously enough to pursue it to a lynch.
