Hey guys. Please take a look at these videos and tell me what you think:

Oldies
-------

Zelda/Sheik vs DK 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrPPt198SCk

Zelda/Sheik vs DK 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q9s4tGf5YNY

Zelda vs Dedede: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoJSDgcJalA

---------------------------

Zelda vs Peach: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5LUI0n34sM

Zelda vs Pikachu: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Po-jrnt9pg&feature=channel_page

1.28.09 - NEW!!!
---------------------

vs. Falco: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iqXH66rAzk

vs. Pit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuZOq1p5Ct8

vs. ICs and Pikachu: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gyb2_aZVdUQ (skip to 2nd and 3rd rounds)

The last 2 videos are much more recent than the first 3. I tried to put them more or less in chronological order to the best of my memory, since I've been using ocarina for the no tripping codes and long replays...but as a sideffect it screwed up the dates on the replays.

All constructive critisism is appreciated. I'll post more here as they come.

Thanks in advance.

Decent matches overall. Two things:

1) You used Nayru's a lot. I get into the habit as well sometimes, but it's best to try and break out of that habit. It's deceptively poor ranged and a pretty laggy attack.

2) I don't remember seeing many, if any, dtilts. That's one of Zelda's best moves.

Yea I've cut down on the Nayru's I know what you mean. I'm trying to find ways to get into dtilts more, but yea man I'll keep those in mind. Thanks for the input.

Awe man I have videos that no one's looked at =( maybe I should make my own thread? ;D Anyways I saw these. Love your Zelda! You have a great use of spacing =D

I'm not one to critique at all, but I have some handy information:

- Against DK: you have a 28% true combo on him, dtilt trip > Fair sweetspot. It's very easy to land. You can easily rack up damage this way but don't get too predictable.

- Against Dedede: Lol you have a different true combo on him, and that's dtilt trip > Bair sweetspot. Another 28+% one. Very handy. I'm about to make a thread on this.

- Against Peach: so so tricky because every peach is different! I like to hang back and not get in her face. She'll condition you into usmashing, so don't unless you're sure. Also, always watch out for the Fair - 16 frames, just ROLL BACK every time you see, she can't do much this way. Don't shield or spotdodge it.

Don't have enough pika experience to be honest so I won't say anything there =/

That would be Projo. We play all the time, same crew. Tell me not, I mean I knew his Peach was too good for someone who barely ever uses her.

I can't critique your Zelda much, but I do have a little point regarding your Sheik: don't continue the f-tilt lock for too long. Do it as long as you confidently can, then finish it with u-tilt or get your opponent ready for another one with a single jab.

Yea I've been doing more of those lately. Now that I have a capture card I'll record and upload recent videos as they come.

Thanks for the input guys. I'd appreciate as much as I can get.

No really, I quit.
Try to get out of the habit of rolling after you successfully shield a laggy move, especially as sheik considering she covers so much ground so quickly. At least 3 times I saw jtails throw a smash that you properly shielded only for you to give him time to act accordingly by rolling after the fact then attempting to punish him.

Yah dude try to get out of the habit of not purchasing a fleshlight man. Seriously.

Nah seriously if you get a fleshlight your Zelda would be 10X better because she wouldn't need to service you if you had a fleshlight. She'd have a lot more strength leftover for her fair so you can do more damagez.

This information is obsolete. Get a fleshlight..:ohwell:

You're not saying much....get a fleshlight, best advice ever.:ohwell:

I think using a bit more Hypen-Usmashes would help your game. Try it out.
Usmashes are also harder to DI out of than Fsmashes, so keep that in mind too.
