While Fox, Falco, Wolf, Falcon, Ness, Lucas, Nana, Popo, Mac, K. Rool, Banjo, and Kazooie are just happy to get another game.

Sakurai willing to acknowledge Mario Galaxy 2 when Nintendo won't, coming right off the heels of him recognizing Zelda and Metroid's anniversaries when Nintendo hasn't.

Hey, I just remembered an idea I had: If Master hand were to be playable like a normal fighter (and not that minigame in WoL), then should he play like High Five from ClayFighter?

It does seem like the Mother series is dead. I can't understand why Lucas' game was never released in the West.

Captain Falcon's franchise kind of got beat out by Mario Kart. I know they are very different but I think in Nintendo's eyes, they are both racers and Mario Kart is the more commercial successful of the two and gets investment as a result.

Star Fox received 1.5 games on the Wii U which is very recent (Star Fox Zero plus the Fortress stage). Star Fox played off a novelty which isn't present anymore. However, I do think there is potential with this franchise as flight simulators are not very common today. I wouldn't be surprised if we got a Star Fox game for Switch.

King K Rool is an interesting one. Not sure why he hasn't appeared as a villain in a recent DKC Returns game. Interestingly, he is still getting love with Nintendo, especially with the appearance in Smash. I think the future could be bright for him.

Banjo & Kazooie depends on Microsoft. Not sure why this franchise hasn't been reboot. The only guess on my end (and this is a stretch) is that perhaps Banjo doesn't fit the demograph of Xbox very well. Nuts and Bolts flopping didn't help as well.

Master Hand honestly just makes me think of Mr Bill where the hand just comes down and brings abnormal amounts of misery to the tiny Mr Bill, and Sluggo is also kinda mean. The Super Smash Bros suffer Master Hand's attacks so that Mr Bill can finally have a day where he DOESN'T get hurt. They must avenge Mr Bill.

Maybe this time would be an exception/trend-breaker? Maybe it won't stop the other DLC char from being revealed at E3 (since Sakurai Presents stuff takes a lot of time, and having one of the character reveals for Smash could leave room for other content for Ninty's E3)?

Dragon Quest had it's special presentation yesterday... I still can't get over Dragon Quest for adults with a gritty logo to boot.

as for sonic I just want Mania2 though sega seems to hate the idea

Update: * sigh * No new Sonic character Smash reveal. ...Oh well, might as well move on, now.

I guess that Sonic event was cool. Didn't really get to see much of anything. Sonic is appearing in weird collaborations. There's gonna be official Sonic drip lol and 5 seconds of new game footage.

Other than, Sonic 3 is finally being rereleased and a Minecraft collab is coming...
