Well the timing and advertising seems almost too coincidential if you ask me, but that's just my opinion on this.

What about the opinion that K.Rool and Wolf should be in Smash?
Although I highly doubt she'd get in, I feel like Anna could be a character with a 'bag of tricks' combining every weapon class in FE for a moveset. In Fates she can use everything but axes by reclassing, which as Robin's Nosferatu proves, isn't a problem
The silent majority. The ~80% of a population which will find themselves "content" in how things currently are. That's my point.

I think she should get in eventually, I mean she has appeared in every FE game to date (Even #) so I think she deserves a spot.
Actually she DID miss out on Fire Emblem Gaiden (2) but that's due to the lack of any shops in the game.
The only others I could see are Azura and Chrom, but I think that Anna is the most likely.

This. That Wolf Fang scrub haven't had a huge impact in the story since the Saiyan Arc. Nowadays, he's just the boring background character that did nothing but slap Beerus on his back and became a meme.
