I think the issue of him not being able to kill with it was due to DK players spamming the attack before attempting to kill with it, (Diminishing returns). This DK made use of his other abilities making the possibility of killing with his B-Air much higher.

I think the playstyle of the Melee DK contributes much to people thinking you can't kill with B-Air, mainly because his B-Air was a big part of Melee DK's offensive arsenal.

I really love DK's FS. Once you follow the beat, it can be a real killing machine, especially on small stages. This makes me want to play with DK again.

Awesome vids...but some of these DKs have seen better days.

Why would you back air over and over in an edgguarding situation? Somebody charge an effing DK punch!

Wow, this DK vids are amazing! I really enjoy seeing them. Donkey Kong looks really fun to play as and this really made me want to play as DK again. I loved playing as him in Melee, but couldn't really use him in serious matches, but it looks like DK is much more useable this time. I really love how strong is f-smash is.

Really nice vids, I hope there will be more :)

Once I watch Bum's matches, I'll be like,"Why the hell am I playin this game seriously, Bum just does it so much better. =(."

Bum is inspirational and discouraging at the same time. I am excited to see matches from him or Mexican.


Brahma- I believe T-link's Dair has push-back on a non active hit-box, additionally DK guarded late. IMO. Thanks for listing the video the way you did. It helped make the listing super easy.

@Clown Yoter- Parry Dsmash is much more effective than Parry, Throw. (Shield grab) :)

@Clown_Yoter- Your DK is really shaping up. This is the collest time for vids because we can actually see our games evolving and developing. You impliment Cargo, Ftoss, Uair and other stuff. Nice work.Dtilt, runnginA. woot! feel like renaming Fair to Clownair Because, you sir, OWN people with that move. It's your strongest killing blow. =)

Something constructive because I want to see you better- Save Btoss for kills, use Cargo, Ftoss to throw people off stage. Even if that means you have to turn around during cargo. And, you don't punish rolls enough. Use grab, downB or Dsmash.

Just got caught up on videos, as I've been out of commission for a little while (flue season sucks).
Clownair rules lol. If I manage to do well in the Gamestop tournament I'm going to call it that, just to get a bunch of weird looks.

Seeing these just make me more certain that DK is going to tear the Brawl scene apart. My only concern for DK is how his game against some of the more heavy contenders though. I don't see alot of DK video against D3 or Ike for example, so I have no idea what to expect.

Anyway, there's my two cents for the day.

DK definately has more range to work with than D3 and Bowser, but from what I played the heavy characters finally have even grounds to actually perform what they're meant to do, without getting combo'd to hell by characters like sheik.

Kyle and Yoter def got the top DKs right now from what I've seen. When Bum drops some videos we'll see whats hot.

I cannot wait to play yall. Not just DK mirrors, but fighting in general.

Yoter few things.

- I think you are too hasty and reckless with giant punch. I only watched the first videos so far, so I don't know if it's just ZSS' range and quickness that had your GP timing off, but you should set that up better.

- When ZSS was assaulting you off the stage with her aerials, why weren't you air dodging?

I haven't had too much of a chance to experiment like i wanted, obviously most of the things that work in melee don't cut it in brawl. The whole air dodging system is simply something I'm not used to being able to use, so I would wind up losing stocks over it. 2 more days and that'll all change.
