what is the ideal time to come for friendlies before the tournament officially starts at 1?

we're starting right at 1PM, not 1PM smasher time. 1PM. No exceptions. If you're not there you're not playing doubles.

In addition, if you aren't there by the time we finish making pools, you're not in singles. It's gonna be tough to play through doubles, pools, and brackets all in 1 day when we're starting at 1 so we can't afford to hold the tournament up for anyone.

GET THERE BEFORE 12PM. We're going to need time to sign everyone up and seed the bracket fairly.

I'll be there around 10, so anytime around or after then would be a great time to show up.

Bring setups: TVs, Wiis, Gamecubes, & Powerstrips (This one is pretty important, if you have a power strip laying around PLEASE BRING IT)

PS - Do us all a favor and bring ones and fives. If you look a the prices it's 6 dollars for both events and entry. Be a pal and leave the 20s at home, because we're not going to have to much change to go around.

The tournament is actually running a lot smoother than it looks from the outside. The only hold up was 1/2 of irvine got here at 2, so we didn't start doubles till 2:15. Then singles pools started around 4:30 and singles bracket started at 7 and finished about 20 minutes from now.

all in all 9 hours for 32 man doubles bracket (31 teams), 12 pools of 7 for singles (81 entrants), and a 36 man bracket, really isn't too bad. Now we just gotta start at a reasonable time...
