Well you played Cloud who has a bit of startup on his moves. I think of Cloud as guard bait. I really need to practice so that next time I can play you with Tidus and Terra.

Cloud is really good in Ex mode when he doesn't have to worry about being guarded and can just go off with his massive attack power.

Sephiroth and Onion knight can be really campy characters because they have lots of multi hit moves but have a bit of startup on their moves.

Sounds like you learned a good bit from playing herf.

yea i learn a lot when i play humans.

took me a bit to realize that dashing up and attacking rarely worked for his blocking strats, so i had to mix it up with some dashing up and Braver-ing, because braver beats block, and dodge (catches them at the end). also, multi air slide+, along with free air dash, can make for AMAZING aerial mobility with any character, and opens up tricky mindgames into baiting and provoking your opponent to get in bad positions, and positioning yourself for proper attacks.

Anyone in MA play? I got at least 1/2 the characters at 100. 400+ hours of my life I'm never gonna get back.

For the record, I main Sephiroth. He's better than people think! :3 At least, I feel he is.

Anyways, let me know if you wanna play. I have lots of things I need to Artifact. >_>; So, we can 'exchange' artifacts for a while. :3

Don't waste time w/Kefka, he is beyond terrible.

A kefka won a tourney recently. He isnt bad if u kno how 2 trully use him.

yea i have ultimate weapons for cloud and seph and just got WoLs. I've come to the conclusion that playing WITH accessories and gear is much more fun and customized than playing without them, adds a better element of strategy. (although i still think EX Counter is super gay). I've put some ridiculous amount of hours into the game and i'm STILL missing lots of stuff (genji set, lufenian set, various awesome accessories). I also have NO IDEA how "Artifacts" work. I believe they are only for use with Communications mode battles so yea, we definitely need to play.

mines like lvl 16 so i dont really have any good stuff of hers yet.... she seems fun though. she can stop time, and attack you while retreating

I personally find that some of the summons are incredibly broken. I find that no equip matches are a bit more balanced.

I should hold a Dissidia side tournament sometime.

infinites banned.
everything else legal.
