Hypothetical, assuming he's scum: The other Mafia would know that he was one of them, so they wouldn't kill him. We wouldn't lynch him since we wouldn't know he wasn't a cop, and lynching the cop would be stupid.

Although then I guess we would know he was scum the next day if he didn't get killed and someone else did instead.

So I guess you're right.

If anyone else does say they're a cop, I know that they are Mafia. And when I die and my role is revealed, whoever claimed the cop role will be auto-lynched.

Giving away that you are the cop is just about the stupidest move you could make for town in general. Either you die and we lost the cop, or doctor protects you and then Mafia gets a kill on anyone they want.

Because of this, I don't think you're the cop. I could be wrong though.

Perhaps. I'm still not convinced, considering that if you are the cop in actuality, you will probably be killed my the Mafia. Hypothetically, if you were not the cop and instead Mafia, then why would the real cop reveal themselves, just to be killed? If you are the cop, you're going to die, and if you're not, you're just trying to lure the real cop out so you can kill him.

I don't know though, this is an interesting situation. I'm liking this game =P
