Diddy Kong Appreciation Thread: From Dinky to Diddy, From the Jungle to the Brawl.

Its kinda hard to determine which buttons my friends are pressing cause they use Sheik and marth, while i use C.f. or Ganondorf. and we ususally use all of the buttons when we play.

Pretty much. Although I win every time. He tries way too hard to beat me so he can't calm down when he is close to victory. You have to be calm to play this game after all.

Just because you couldn't do math in the Metric System doesn't mean it sucks. Yes, I'm kidding, but we don't want to get into another "debate" over something as stupid as if the metric system sucks or rocks.

We use Dollars, Pounds should always refer to british money and nothing else. Kilograms > Pounds, Me and my friend Matt decided The metric system was supirior because it is more accurate. We were talking about random stuff on the bus. But that's off topic.

I have only lost once (But I only play against 3 different people) and I was using Dr Mario against my brother's fox, he doesn't usually play because he says it sucks when I always win so I picked my second worst character (my worst being Falco) and he won. Every other time when I use Peach, Zelda or Roy I win (I usually use Peach)

I am not 100% sure Diddy will be in Brawl. I mean Sakurai is the person I respect most at Nintendo because he formed his own little company because Nintendo was bossy with melee, but Diddy wasn't in Jungle Beat which was supposed to be the GC DK(C) game although Diddy Kong Racing DS is coming out so it makes me feel slightly better.

Meh. Actually, I think America is the only country that uses pounds. Every other country uses the metric system so this is a pointless debate. By the way, how did you get in the red Xianfeng?

That's the very first thing I've ever saw you posting about Melee. :O
Anyways, a classmate of mine is Europe's best Young Link player, and he plays Ganon as well to.

However he's much better than me, Im improving alot. I won a couple of times agains his Fox, I completly own his Roy and vs his Ganon and Y.Link it's always very close.
He goes to tournies in Germany and so, I prefer to just play friendly matches, and if there happens to be a low tier tourney in bicyle-distance, I'd go there. Till now, I've entered 0 tournaments.

I main Donkey Kong btw. He's one of the least populair characters in the game, and somehow I can see why. But he's a great character for me. I can't handle characters as Fox and Falco well, and Pikachu kinda disapointed me in Melee. DK has great range, good grabs and awesome juggles and he's alot faster then you might think, plus he's just a fun character to play aswell.

My secundaries are the likes of Pichu, Link, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, and Samus.

I wanna know how DK plays like in Brawl. I can't wait to see how his design looks like, and he's likely the very first character I will try in Brawl, even if Diddy is in there to.
That doesn't mean that Diddy isn't the most deserving character that isn't in Smash Bros yet!

Good news for me, I live in Slidell and that place has already been destroyed by Katrina plus it is far from important. Sometimes it helps to be unimportant. We need a new president or else we are screwed in a serious way.

If you want longer go to the Midwest Circuit thread, me and Kish Squared got in a big debate about crew strategies.

Also North Korea doesn't have the delivery system to launch nukes they will just sell the warheads as of now which has the U.S. worried that they will sell them to someone that does. Since NK doesn't have many resouces they sell just about everything they make.

Shade or Shadow perhaps?
I would prefer Shade, since the word Shadow is pretty much overused.

IMO, Diddy should have #1 priority. DK franchise seriously needs another rep. Diddy is ideal. Also, DK was not given another rep in Melee... the time has come. Diddy all the way.
